***FALL 2026 NEW CLIENTS***: New Clients should have daytime, flexible hours or be well enough to be seen occasionally or short term, with a possibility of tapering in. Please make sure there are several OR MORE available appointments that work for your schedule and book them in advance if you want to be seen somewhat consistently. Existing clients tend to book out, but I have many clients tapered down to see me every other week or once a month. Clients are responsible for managing all appointments. I have a strict cancellation policy and fee without exception. *** I am an experienced clinical social worker, honored to serve my clients. I believe EVERYONE has inherent worth and dignity. I beleive in pluralism, democracy, and wholesome, authentic connection among many things that give meaning and context to life. I keep love at the center of my work. We will laugh, cry, learn and grow during our time together. I provide some structure during or after our sessions to facilitate deeper exploration of what is bothering you.

Don’t worry, we will find joy and laughter in our sessions too.

First session

Our first session starts by reviewing your intake forms and starting with what problem is bothering you most. You’ll typically take away at least 1 tool or resource to bring you some ease during and after our very first session.

I reflect and paraphrase my client’s statements to demonstrate understanding. I encourage my clients to explore their own insights and solutions. I provide support and guidance, tools and resources that help clients strengthen their understanding of themselves, fostering compassion throughout the process.

I have been working with Libby for the last several months to combat mild depression regarding midlife stuckness. She is a caring and authentic provider, and a wonderful listener. She's a little crunchy (as am I), but my assumption is she knows how to approach clients based on their needs and comforts and can dial down the hippie when needed. I think I am over my rough patch, but I try to check in with her periodically because I find her wisdom grounding. I wholeheartedly recommend!
