Hello, my name is William. I have been in the field for 10 years now. I have worked in a variety of positions from Hospital settings to inpatient, to group/couples work, and the standard individual sessions. I am a sex-positive therapist who works with a wide range of issues. I work using a combination of short and long-term goals. However, I only currently work with 18+ year old individual clients. I'm not sure what exactly brought you here, but I can guess it has something to do with seeking a positive change. Perhaps this is your first-time trying therapy or you are well versed in the process. No matter the reason or experience level I would like to offer you a safe space to let those feelings out and share them in a nonjudgmental space.
In the first session we start with the ground rules. We go over some of the basic things to know in therapy if it's your first time or if you have had a therapist before, we cover how my sessions differ. I tend to review your intake paperwork with you and find out a bit more about your goals for therapy. First sessions can be nerve wracking and not everyone has had a good experience with therapy in the past. I try my best to help alleviate any worries or concerns.
My biggest strength is I strive for what I refer to as the "Merry Poppins Moment". I come in, help everyone grow and then fly away on my umbrella when I am no longer needed. For individuals, I work well with anxiety, self esteem issues, as well as processing trauma. My niche, for any/all, is working with those in the kink and sex-positive community. Be it in any sort of D/s dynamic, power exchange, poly, open relationship or any lifestyle are welcome.
I find the clients I work best with are those who are ready to do the work, to be nudged, not shoved into working on improving the things they struggle on. Therapy is not easy, nor is it always comfortable but it is something that requires a drive to work towards the goals they set, stop avoiding the problems and finally face them. I am a kink, sex positive therapist who enjoys working with clients that have spent so many years being torn down, that they finally want to start being built back up under their own power. Self esteem, self worth, and stopping all the people pleasing is very possible.

When I began seeing William, I was emotionally unstable and had difficulty sorting through overwhelming emotions. The idea of going to therapy was horrifying; however, William was able to break down my issues into smaller interconnected parts---allowing me to both identify and process emotions and feelings I once felt were insurmountable. William has a grounded approach that is infused with both care and an even-handedness. If you are looking for a kind and smart therapist, give him a try!

William cuts through the B.S. and tells it straight, which is exactly what I need from therapy. He's direct without being harsh, and I can already tell he's not going to let me get away with my own excuses. I'm genuinely looking forward to working with someone who respects me enough to be honest.
