Hello! I'm Chris, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, and I'm delighted to meet you. With experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and addressing a wide range of mental health conditions, I strive to create a welcoming and open environment. My goal is to ensure you feel at ease discussing any topic that's important to you. I'm excited about the opportunity to work together and support your journey!
During our initial session, we will begin to develop our therapeutic working relationship. I will learn about you, your history, and what you are seeking from therapy. We will set up treatment goals. We will also validate that those goals are in alignment with your expectations.
I find that my greatest strength when it comes to therapy is my ability to connect with people. I find that most patients do not want to talk to a therapist that is like a robot, they want someone with a personality who also has the therapeutic skills to make a difference. I would say my other greatest strength is my ability to challenge the patient when it is necessary but still make them feel validated and supported.
