Hello, I’m Sascha, If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Beginning therapy can bring up a mix of emotions...empowerment, uncertainty, even hesitation—and all of that is valid. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes work in county-based services, nonprofit mental health, foster care, and school settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances. I believe that people generally have an internal sense of what they need and where they want to go, but at times can feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you gain clarity around what may be contributing to that feeling and to work collaboratively with you to develop practical, meaningful ways to navigate challenges. Life stressors such as relationship dynamics, limited support systems, past experiences, and difficulties with emotional regulation can all impact our ability to function in the ways we want. In our work together, I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore these areas and move toward greater stability, insight, and fulfillment.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who values depth, steadiness, and authenticity in the therapy space. My style is calm, thoughtful, and relational, with room for both reflection and gentle humor. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, unhurried, and genuinely seen—not pushed or “fixed.” I’m especially attuned to how past experiences, relationships, and unspoken expectations shape the way we move through the world. I work at a pace that honors your nervous system, helping you build insight while also developing practical ways to feel more grounded and supported in daily life. Above all, I aim to create a space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself excessively, or have everything figured out. We slow things down, listen closely, and work toward change that feels meaningful and sustainable.

Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. We will work through parts people generally dismiss and ignore such as anger, resentment, shame, and disgust, and learn how to embrace them gracefully. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace. As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I help you take what you've learned and apply it to your own life by giving you things to think about and work on between sessions, along with resources and handouts to remember. I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them. Everything you seek is already inside you. All I’m doing is helping you remember.

Hello! I’m Danielle. I am from Massachusetts where I completed my undergraduate (Criminal Justice & Psychology) and graduate (social work) studies. During undergrad, I volunteered with a program that help inmates with serious mental health disorder re-enter to the community. I was told the most efficient way to engage in that type of work was to go to a MSW program, so I did. During my graduate program, I heavily explored crisis intervention/assessments. Since then I have worked at a variety of places, including therapy, case management, prisons, and emergency response. As someone who has been in and out of therapy since I was young, I never wanted to be administering therapy. I thought being a therapist would be boring and I didn’t really understand it. However, as I’ve explored what therapy should be- treating someone using an evidenced-based practice- I enjoy administering mental health treatment, using a scientific approach. My goal is to help you gain relief from symptoms, maintain or enhance daily functioning, and improve quality of life. Ultimately, I want you to gain a sense of independence and confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges, using the tools and insights you’ve developed in therapy.

Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives. I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. I have also spent 2 years working with foster youth and foster parents in providing support to their placements, promoting healing and preserving relationships. Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.

When it comes to the therapeutic experience, my treatment motto is “therapy is a collaborative journey.” In treatment, the client or the patient sets the pace for treatment. As a clinician, we are trained to meet our patienst and clients where they are, currently, and provide services as appropriate. I always use this analogy when introducing how treatment will proceed to clients. I explain to clients that the therapeutic journey is like a road trip. They are in the driver's seat. They are setting the pace. They are deciding the route and the destination. All I do, as their therapist, is hold the GPS, suggest alternative routes when needed, and set the music.

My approach integrates Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, active imagination, systems theory, and solution-focused therapy. I believe healing involves more than changing thoughts alone. Research on neuroplasticity shows the brain and nervous system can form new pathways throughout life, creating opportunities for meaningful emotional and behavioral change. Therapy can support not only insight, but also emotional regulation, self-compassion, nervous system balance, creativity, and resilience. I work collaboratively and compassionately, welcoming all parts of you into the therapeutic process. I am passionate about the impact of spirituality in mental health therapy. As an attachment informed humanist LPCC, I consider the bio-psycho-social-spiritual/existential condition of the folks with whom I work. Healing is a matter of integrating the disparate and fragmented parts of life. Empathy, acceptance, positive regard, and genuineness are crucial elements for effective therapy and these are the characteristics I seek to cultivate in my practice. As far as a specific toolkit, CBT and Motivational Interviewing are the primary evidence based methodologies I employ to be with people in their self-paced, goal oriented healing efforts. Those who want to examine the angst, anxiety, disquiet, and friction in their lives will find a fellow traveler in me.

Hi, I'm Paula Whidden, LPCC. You may look like you're managing on the outside while feeling overwhelmed on the inside. Perhaps your mind won't slow down at night, anxiety keeps you on edge, or painful experiences from the past continue to affect your relationships, confidence, or sense of peace. You may feel exhausted from carrying burdens that no one else can see. I help teens and adults who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions find healing, hope, and practical tools for lasting change. Together, we'll work to understand what is keeping you stuck, process difficult experiences, and build skills that help you move forward with greater confidence and emotional freedom. My approach is warm, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and safe enough to explore both your struggles and your strengths. I strive to create an environment where clients can heal without judgment while learning new ways to respond to life's challenges. I am a trauma-focused Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with specialized training in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Method couples work, Prepare/Enrich, and anxiety treatment. These approaches allow me to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and goals. Over the years, I have helped clients who felt anxious, depressed, fearful, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck discover new ways of understanding themselves and relating to others. Clients often describe me as calm, compassionate, and encouraging. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms but to help you experience greater peace, resilience, and hope for the future. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but you don't have to face life's challenges alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you pursue healing and growth.

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen and understood. I am thoughtful, present, and deeply interested in your story, not just your symptoms. I approach our work together with curiosity, care, and respect for who you are and where you come from. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I also teach and train future mental health professionals, which keeps my work grounded in strong clinical ethics, ongoing learning, and real world application.

Something meaningful in your life isn't working — even though on the outside, things look fine. You've tried therapy, you have insight into your patterns, but something still isn't shifting. That's exactly who I work with. I'm a licensed therapist in Pasadena, California. Before becoming a therapist, I spent most of my adult life as a successful executive in investment management — driven, accomplished, and always moving. What I didn't realize until my 50s was that the constant motion was keeping me from slowing down enough to feel. Therapy changed that profoundly enough that I left my career, went back to school, and became a therapist myself.
