I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters Degree in Social Work from California State University Los Angeles. I have been working in mental health for over 40 years, and as a licensed professional for 16 years. My area of expertise is mental health and supporting clients to be able to adjust and cope better with a myriad of life stressors.
I will conduct an initial assessment and history to document your symptoms and how the symptoms are impacting your current functioning, as well as recommendations for continued treatment.
I have compassion and understanding for those who are suffering and having a difficult time coping with aspects of their life. I am grounded in reality and I am direct but kind in my approach.
I appreciate working with clients that are open and ready to learn and understand how family history and early relationships impact current and future relationships, as well as understanding how untreated mental health symptoms can worsen and impact the clients life and ability to function at an optimal level

I was nervous about what I was going to say or how it was going start. But I was really happy with how she was able to break down my thoughts. Even when I would challenge the perspective. I wanted to go in open minded to hearing the hard truth about myself and I did. She was amazing and really gave me some guidance and homework that I needed in order to recognize my own problems. I am grateful to have met her for my first time in therapy.
