Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’ve been carrying a lot on your own for a long time. I believe therapy works best when you don’t have to pretend you’re okay or have everything figured out. I believe that therapy can heal, but I also know that telling a stranger about your deepest pain can be a strange feeling.
