I am a licensed therapist with over 12 years of experience, specializing in helping individuals and couples navigate challenges, foster deeper connections, and heal from trauma. My approach is relational, collaborative, and tailored to each client, integrating modalities like EFT, PACT, IFS, and EMDR. I create a safe and supportive space for self-discovery, helping clients build greater self-awareness, compassion, and resilience in their lives and relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and collaborative space where we begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. I’ll ask about your current challenges, goals for therapy, and any relevant background information to help me understand your unique story. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy and discuss how I work, tailoring an approach that suits your needs. The session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share what you hope to gain from our work together, and ensure that you feel comfortable moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider lie in creating a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My therapy focuses on fostering deep, transformative change—helping clients grieve losses, heal emotional wounds, and move forward in life with greater clarity and purpose. I integrate evidence-based modalities like EFT, PACT, IFS, and EMDR to support healing, self-acceptance, and a learning orientation to life. By balancing empathy with insight, I guide clients toward meaningful growth, empowering them to embrace life’s challenges as opportunities for transformation.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I have been using Internal Family Systems (IFS) in my practice for five years and find it highly effective for addressing internal conflict and fostering self-compassion. IFS helps clients explore different “parts” of themselves, resolve inner struggles, and connect with their core Self—a state of calm and clarity. In sessions, I guide clients to identify and understand their parts, listen to their needs, and build trust and compassion within themselves. This approach is especially helpful for processing trauma, navigating emotional challenges, and empowering ongoing personal growth.

EMDR

I also incorporate EMDR into my practice, which is highly effective for processing trauma and helping clients release deeply held emotional and physical patterns, allowing them to move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

Attachment-based

I integrate attachment-focused work with a relational lens, using an analytical understanding of past dynamics to help clients deepen self-awareness and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I occasionally incorporate CBT when specifically needed, as it can be effective for addressing immediate challenges.

Couples Counseling

I have been working with couples for over 10 years, primarily using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT) to support relational healing and connection. Additionally, I integrate AEDP and IFS to bring a more individualized and nuanced perspective to the work, helping couples explore their unique dynamics while fostering deeper emotional attunement and personal growth.
