Have you ever felt like you were busy doing all the things you thought would bring you a happy life, yet felt alone and disconnected from yourself and others?
These feelings are often when people turn to alcohol, drugs, food, shopping or relationships to try to create those feelings of happiness, contentment and joy. It can work for a short time however the key to moving forward is to understand the reasons we seek out these distractions.
When we strengthen the relationship with ourselves, the outer world becomes much more balanced and fulfilling. Through slowing down and reconnecting with our mind, body and spirit we can feel more confident to face life events with a more stable and hopeful core sense of self.
I specialize in treating relationship issues, addiction/substance abuse, depression, anxiety, job related issues, couples treatment and divorce recovery
I am a licensed therapist with advanced training in anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and long-standing emotional patterns. I often work with high-functioning clients who appear capable and composed on the outside, yet feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or stuck in private.
My style is warm, thoughtful, and direct. I help clients understand the deeper roots of their struggles while also giving them practical tools to create change in real life. My goal is not only to help you feel better, but to help you feel clearer, stronger, and more in control of your life, relationships, and decisions.

My name is William Money, a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. I have 8 years in the field and I love my job. I am not the person to give advice or tell you how to live your life. I will not tell you I know everything because I don’t. I will meet you wherever you are therapeutically no matter where you are in your journey. I am not judgmental and I have experience with lots of things so if you feel we are a good fit please reach out to me to schedule our first appointment.
I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology, and from Loyola Marymount University with a M.A. in Counseling Psychology. Subsequently, I received my Marriage Family Therapist license in 1982. In addition to offering psychotherapy to recovering addicts and alcoholics in private practice in Los Angeles, California, I specializes in treating emotional disorders such as depression and anxiety and I have been facilitating ongoing recovery groups in various chemical dependency treatment centers.
Having spent many years in the field of addiction and recovery, on both a professional and personal level, I know what it takes to leave behind destructive behavior patterns in favor of actions that promote prosperity and success, and I have dedicated my life to using my extensive experience to benefit others. In my work I utilize the “alchemy” of turning weakness into strength, passing on resources and tools for recovery from emotional pain, depression, anxiety, and addiction – for building a good life.

Therapy is my passion! I absolutely love to watch my clients grow and change before my eyes.
Hi, I’m Lois, Mother of 3 amazing boys, business owner and lover of life. I have learned so much through my years of working with clients individually, in groups and with families and couples. What I have learned is that as humans we are resilient! We have been given this life to have joy and life lessons. I have been honored to guide and encourage many clients over the last 20 years. It is my life purpose to help others especially when they cannot see the abundance and joy that is around us. I use many different modalities to guide clients on their journey. One of my main modalities is EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) which are both very effective healing modalities. I'm always excited to learn new techniques and offer a variety of modalities to assist my clients in their healing journey. I also use short-term solution-focused therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness among others to bring about change.
I truly believe as a therapist I must do my own work, for I cannot take you to a place that I have not visited. I have done many years of my own therapy, attended healing retreats, participated in group therapy and attended 12 step meetings, writing and lots of self care!
After earning my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, I spent a number of years traveling the world and then went on to earn two Master’s degrees, the second in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working as a therapist for close to seven years, but have worked as a counselor with children, adolescents, and families for over 15 years. I built my own academic counseling business after my first graduate school, in which I fostered relationships with families and the community. This experience working closely with hundreds of local families gave me great insight into the power of supportive, goal oriented, client centered, positive relationships as catalysts for change in individuals and relational systems.
I approach my clients with the belief that they are capable and valuable, and that with my support in identifying their strengths and resources, both internal and external, they can gain skills and achieve goals that can instill a sense of hope which enables them to move forward successfully.
I have spent a great deal of time traveling, living, and working in diverse parts of the world, and I believe my own experiences coupled with my genuine positive regard for people has cultivated a broad perspective of understanding that contributes to my success as a therapist.

As a clinician, I am dedicated to achieving results for my clients. I believe my clients can find their best solutions, and my job is to help them navigate towards these goals. I take a collaborative approach, working together with my clients to explore and distinguish difficult emotions and their underlying story. Once my client has a good understanding of where they’ve been and where they are, we can work together to plot a course towards where they want to me.
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
I have over 13 years of experience in behavioral health and residential treatment, including more than 10 years working in addiction recovery and nearly six years providing psychotherapy. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions.
Clients often describe me as compassionate, genuine, calm, and direct. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be honest and challenged enough to grow. My approach is collaborative and practical—I strive to help you better understand yourself while building the skills and confidence to create lasting change.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Whether you're working to heal from past experiences, strengthen your relationships, overcome addiction, or simply feel more like yourself again, I'll meet you where you are and walk alongside you throughout the process. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change that supports the life you want to live.
Self-knowledge can only take us so far in dealing with our challenges. It may go deeper than that with our most persistent issues. It can be invaluable to have a trusted and non-judgmental person to help us see our blindspots and to provide insights that we can't see on our own. If you feel ready to talk about making more progress in your personal growth and recovery, I hope you'll schedule a session today.

Life can be challenging and complicated. Choosing a therapist doesn’t have to be. I believe that building a safe, nurturing, genuine, open, and honest therapeutic relationship with you is the best way to connect. First, I will help you figure out what you want and why. Together, we will work to explore areas of your life that are challenging to set you on a path of happiness, fulfillment, and purpose. You don't have to go through this alone.
Are you tired of relapsing?? Tired of struggling to stay sober?? My experience in the field of Substance Abuse allowed me the privilege of helping those struggling with addiction and mental health disorders as well as their families. I have worked in this field for the past nineteen years and it has given me a compassionate perspective for those struggling to get and stay sober. I am enthusiastic and passionate about helping you find unique and creative solutions to problems. Parents, would you like some peace in your home? Are you tired of the lying and manipulation? Need support dealing with a teen with addiction issues? I can help.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, life transitions and relationship challenges. I believe therapy is a journey inward—one that honors the mind, heart, and spirit. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and their Best Self: the part of you that is grounded in clarity, resilience, and compassion. At any stage of life, your Best Self remains present—offering wisdom, healing, and the possibility of deep inner peace even in the presence of deep pain or long-standing challenges.
I hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Counseling Psychology and have trained in grief and loss, community mental health, psychiatric settings, and addiction treatment. In my private practice, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, shame-free, and growth-oriented space that honors each client’s unique healing process.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in deep caring and lived experience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful patterns; mindfulness and acceptance-based practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion; and humanistic and spiritual perspectives that invite exploration of meaning, authenticity, and purpose.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together we work in a compassionate space to reconnect with your Best Self—honoring a lifetime of experience while cultivating peace, resilience, and self-compassion in all seasons of life.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to keep it all together? You don’t have to navigate it alone.

My name is Claudia Ibal, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned licensure in 2021. I have approximately seven years of experience specializing in substance use counseling, while also providing behavioral health services to individuals and families experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. My clinical experience includes conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments, providing individualized and brief therapy, implementing evidence-based interventions, crisis intervention, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support clients’ overall well-being.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, compassionate, culturally responsive, and strength-based. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and trauma-informed care to meet each client's unique needs and goals.
My ideal clients are individuals who are motivated to improve their quality of life, whether they are navigating substance use challenges, mental health concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or stress-related issues. I enjoy working with clients who are seeking practical tools, emotional support, and guidance as they build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward lasting personal growth. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to helping clients access resources, overcome barriers, and achieve meaningful, sustainable change.
Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives.
I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. I have also spent 2 years working with foster youth and foster parents in providing support to their placements, promoting healing and preserving relationships.
Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.
There is always a path beyond what you're suffering now. For 35 years I've been privileged to help people like you look at their lives. I've helped them find ways to directly look at the pain, fear, anger, shame, depression, trauma, and other things that feel overwhelming. Most importantly, I've helped people move beyond today's focus on pain and struggle to discover new ways to manage their lives, to suffer less, to feel more space, trust, and aliveness.
Do you feel like you have the insight but don’t quite know what to do with it- how to process it or heal? You are not alone. I help individuals and couples move beyond the surface to work through what is keeping them stuck. I use IFS, EMDR and other modalities to connect you to your wounds, unprocessed memories, and blocks. Together, we set to discover the parts of you that hold pain and unlock your full potential by exploring what is holding you back.
Couples:
If it feels like you’re speaking different languages or having the same argument over and over, you may be stuck in a negative cycle that’s hard to see from the inside. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), rooted in attachment theory, to help partners reconnect, communicate vulnerably, and rebuild.
Oftentimes, what stands in our way is fear—because we have a deeply rooted need to feel safe. I understand. It’s much easier to stay in something comfortable than to risk the unknown; our minds and bodies are wired that way. My hope is to reflect your strength and worth, and to provide a safe, trusting space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued.
I am passionate about the impact of spirituality in mental health therapy. As an attachment informed humanist LPCC, I consider the bio-psycho-social-spiritual/existential condition of the folks with whom I work. Healing is a matter of integrating the disparate and fragmented parts of life. Empathy, acceptance, positive regard, and genuineness are crucial elements for effective therapy and these are the characteristics I seek to cultivate in my practice. As far as a specific toolkit, CBT and Motivational Interviewing are the primary evidence based methodologies I employ to be with people in their self-paced, goal oriented healing efforts. Those who want to examine the angst, anxiety, disquiet, and friction in their lives will find a fellow traveler in me.
I'm a CA and OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and substance use concerns. I bring both deep clinical experience and a very human understanding of how hard it can be to ask for help.
My approach is collaborative, honest, and practical. I use evidence-based modalities such as DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and systems-based work, always tailored to your goals and lived experience. Therapy with me is about gaining insight, building skills, and creating real, sustainable change.
Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling more grounded, more confident in their choices, and better equipped to handle emotions and relationships with clarity and self-trust. My goal is to help you feel less overwhelmed, more connected, and more aligned with the life you want to build.
Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lasting change? I am here to support you every step of the way. With a unique blend of compassion and practicality, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, set achievable goals, and harness your true potential. Guided by a holistic perspective, I recognize that your journey towards authenticity and empowerment encompasses every aspect of your being – mind, body, and spirit.

I am a first-generation Latino, the first in my family to attend college and pursue graduate and postgraduate education. I was licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2009, and since then, I have provided mental health treatment in a variety of settings (schools, community mental health, hospitals, and private practice). In 2010, I obtained my school psychologist credential, which enabled me to help build a mental health program within school districts. It was then that I discovered Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Many of the children and adolescents were in and out of psychiatric hospitals, and I couldn't understand why we could not keep them out. Once I became comprehensively trained in DBT, I left the schools to work in a group practice, providing comprehensive DBT to adolescents and adults. In 2013, I went back to obtain my doctorate in psychology. In 2017, when working on my dissertation, I took a 3-year break from school, going back in 2019, before the pandemic. During the pandemic, several individuals I was working with needed sex therapy and gender affirming care that they could not access. This guided me into my area of specialization and my dissertation. Once completing my doctorate, I completed my training at Tarzana Treatment Centers, where I worked with adults with severe mental health and substance use disorders.
I
My journey into therapy began with a deep curiosity about human resilience and the desire to help others find strength through life's hardest challenges. I'm a firm believer in the powerful role that therapy can play in alleviating distressing symptoms, facilitating positive growth, and increasing functioning in all areas of life. I value clear, open, and direct communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will be an empathetic partner to help you accurately self-reflect. When difficult topics arise, I'll help you deeply understand yourself in the conflict.
Hi! My name is Crystal Villanueva and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Southern California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have 14 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and children experiencing the challenges of anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, and intimate partner violence.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the spirit of Humanistic therapy. Humanistic Therapy is based on the core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves. In therapy, this belief leads me to focus on each individual’s unique point of view and how this view can impact their choices. It further emphasizes the importance of being our authentic selves to live the most fulfilling life. I strive to create a safe environment to help clients feel comfortable to express their thoughts/emotions. I am genuine, friendly, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and interactive. I believe I am easy to talk to as I am casual in my style, but direct and focused when it comes to our work together.
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own therapy that I received as a youth and young adult; it was life-changing. I worked with a therapist that was completely accepting and non-judgmental of my faults/shortcomings and helped me work past and accept them. Because of this experience, I wanted to give back and provide the same nonjudgment safe space, and acceptance to others.
As a supportive therapist, I fully assist clients to achieve empowerment and life of satisfaction. I effectively collaborate with clients to increase self-compassion and supportive social connections to live a life of independence and courage. With non-judgmental empathy, I listen to help clients understand their losses and even unendurable psychological pains, and provide ongoing support with therapeutic insight and expertise in a confidential setting.

I employ a Person-centered approach where the client is the expert, and I am a guide on their journey of self-discovery and healing. I look forward to working with you!
Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. We will work through parts people generally dismiss and ignore such as anger, resentment, shame, and disgust, and learn how to embrace them gracefully. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace.
As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I help you take what you've learned and apply it to your own life by giving you things to think about and work on between sessions, along with resources and handouts to remember.
I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them.
Everything you seek is already inside you. All I’m doing is helping you remember.
I am an LCSW. I provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where you can finally feel empowered to live the life you deserve. Through a variety of approaches and interventions that are customized to you and your needs, we will work together to move you in the direction of a new way of experiencing yourself. At the end of our time together, it is my hope that you will feel stronger, more grounded, with a deeper understanding of yourself. Bringing humor, empathy, and compassion, I am here to assist in honing the needed skills to heal and grow.
My approach centers on deep listening, empathy, and honoring each client’s lived experience. I intentionally consider cultural, environmental, and systemic influences, ensuring therapy is respectful, collaborative, and client-led. I believe in creating a comfortable space that supports growth while affirming each person’s identity and self-determination. I am especially enthusiastic about returning to a practice setting focused on working with adults, where I can support clients in exploring identity, healing, and growth.
