I believe one's mental health is the foundation for overall health and longevity. Feeling scene, heard and supported are the cornerstones of positive mental health. Having a safe sounding board can be life changing and my goal with clients is to make sure that they know they don't have to hold life's "heavy stuff" alone. Learning how to re-connect to self as well as improve communication with others is a focus when working together. I have been working as a therapist for over 10 years in many different capacities. I specialize in recovery support from eating disorders and other addictions and am passionate about supporting clients with struggles around neurodivergence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I practice unconditional positive regard with my clients and provide a warm grounded energy to the sessions.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I used DBT for close to 4 years while working in residential and outpatient treatment centers with clients with diagnosis of PTSD, GAD, depression and eating disorders. I now in my private practice teach mindfulness skills and other distress tolerance skills on a consistent basis to increase overall life satisfaction.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I started using ACT about 4 years ago and continue to use it in my private practice to teach clients about psychological flexibility and radical acceptance when it comes to their emotional landscape.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have worked extensively with clients who have experienced many types of trauma and understand the needed patience and understanding that comes with working with these clients.
