Isolation can chip away at who we are and make hope feel distant—but you are not alone. We heal through connection and offering that support is my calling. When emotions overwhelm or relationships strain, you don’t have to face it alone. I work with individual and couples experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and long-standing patterns, believing healing and growth are always possible.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I have always been interested in emotional well-being and the ways human connection can nurture it. I feel very fortunate to have found a career that promotes connection and well-being—it truly is a gift. Through offering compassion, I strive to help clients reconnect with themselves and recognize strengths they may not yet see. With 15+ years of experience, I offer specialized care (EMDR, DBT, ACT, CBT) to help in the journey to well-being.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe that the best therapeutic outcomes are a result of a good working relationship between therapist and client. In forming this relationship, I exercise compassion and authentic hope in every client's ability to achieve internal peace. "It may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it" -Maya Angelou
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone open to discovering their strengths and using them to move toward their treatment goals. I value working with clients who show up as they are, give themselves permission to be honest, and take an active role in identifying their own needs. I value working with clients who are curious and seeking, who show up with honesty—or a genuine desire to be honest—as they explore themselves and their experiences.
EMDR
I apply Attachment-Focused Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing for acute and chronic symptoms associated with trauma, depression and anxiety. In my experience, using this modality allows clients to actualize their full potential and wellness.
Daialectical Behavior (DBT)
I utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to teach clients mindfulness, healthy forms of coping, emotional regulation when feeling overwhelmed, and methods for improving relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
For those wanting a highly structured approach, I make use of CBT principles to improve behavioral and thought patterns that keep holding us back in life.
