Welcome, I commend you for taking this courageous step of seeking support! I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California (LMFT 102540) for over 10 years. My specialties include treating PTSD/trauma, mood disorders, attachment and relationship issues, addictive processes, Jungian/psychodynamic therapy, and psychedelic integration for individuals seeking out states of expanded consciousness. I am deeply passionate about helping clients access their Inner Healing Wisdom. I believe that an individual’s encounter with their personal unconscious is essential for the healing process. Our unconscious is a sacred cave where we store our insecurities, fantasies, painful memories, deepest fears, and feelings of guilt and shame. It's also a place where we hid away aspects of our authentic selves that could not "fit" into our environment growing up. I believe that true healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore this hidden cave and integrate it’s contents into our authentic Self. My goal is co-create this foundation of safety and trust with you so we can explore the cave together with courage, compassion, and curiosity.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, we will share some brief background info and I will give you some insight into my approach. I encourage you to come with questions and curiosities. We should vibrationally align in a way that allows you to feel safe. I will also let you know what is within my scope of practice and if I feel I can help you.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have worked as an executive leader and a therapist, so I have been in the professional administrative world and the "therapy world." I believe this allows me to have unique insights that other career therapists may not have. I have managed employees, dealt with corporate expectations, and am intimately familiar with the stressors of working a 60 hour workweek and finding work-life balance. I also believe that therapy is my sacred calling, or dharma. It fills my cup to hold space for others at their most tender moments, and I deeply enjoy the process of witnessing a client "coming to greater consciousness." I believe its also my responsibility in our relationship to take good care of myself so I can show up fully energized and grounded for you. I think of myself as an expert in self-care!

Attachment-based
I believe that we all struggle to feel securely attached and connected in this world. This lack of secure attachment can create the suffering we experience. This often starts in the womb, where our mother may have felt stressed or our parents were not intimately connected. Throughout our adolescence or teenage years, we may not have felt heard, seen, or appreciated. This creates a sense that we do not belong here, or that we aren't enough, or that we don't deserve love. I create a compassionate, loving, and curious environment to help you explore early childhood wounds and address attachment issues so you can cultivate deep, meaningful relationships. My goal is to empower you to live a sovereign life of joy, freedom, and love. My helpful formula: Secure Attachment = Freedom + Joy
Compassion Focused
Love is the greatest healer. However, if we have not experienced unconditional love and compassion growing up, in adulthood we may be operating in the "unconscious pain paradigm" wrought with repressed fears, self-doubt, anger, resentment, and unresolved grief. We create a persona to protect our inner child from fear of further pain. However, we are missing out on the great love and joy of this life. Through our relationship rooted in love and compassion, our mission together will be to bring greater awareness to the purpose of your pain, so we can re-discover your divine calling on this planet.
EMDR
EMDR is a trauma-focused modality which can help to reprocess distressing memories. The distressing emotions associated with traumatic memories, such as fear, shame, or guilt are addressed in EMDR sessions through bi-lateral stimulation (BLS). The results are often reduced emotional charge and re-shaping negative beliefs and self-perceptions. EMDR empowers individuals to process their traumatic experiences, fostering self-acceptance and resilience. It can promote a sense of control and confidence navigating the healing journey.
