Hi, my name is Gerald Anderson. I am a licensed Therapist in California, an LMFT. I have worked as a therapist for a long time. Helping people from many diverse back grounds. I have worked with couples, individuals, and children, helping them to have the support and the tools to process and work through their problems, marital conflicts. I have also worked with drug involved individuals, who are in recovery and I am familiar with the 12 step process.
Exhausted by the way you think about yourself? We are often (if not always) our own worst enemies. Whether this pattern has caused you problems with guilt, shame, anxiety, depression, addiction or you name it - the starting point is generally the same. When we embark on the project of therapy you will be asked to put your painful thoughts and feelings into words. As the process unfolds, the strength and fervor used to overthink and condemn yourself will become accessible to use productively in reaching your goals.
My name is Justin, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience providing therapy to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including Veterans. Hello, I’m Deric Placker, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Lancaster, California. Beginning my career in 2018, I have dedicated my life to helping individuals break unhealthy behavioral loops, navigate complex life transitions, and discover their full potential. I absolutely love this career, and there is nothing more rewarding to me than watching my clients grow, heal, and reclaim their personal agency.
What makes me uniquely easy to relate to is that I haven’t always sat in the therapist's chair. I spent the early part of my life working hard as a miner. However, my path shifted permanently in 2009 when I suffered a stroke and subsequently fell into a deep, consuming depression. During that dark period, my own therapist threw me a lifeline and inspired me to pull myself out of the spiral. That pivotal experience changed my life, driving me to go back to school so I could dedicate my life to helping others find their way back from rock bottom.

I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.
We are all faced with challenges. These challenges can create limitations that interfere with gaining a sense of self, forming healthy relationships, and pursuing our goals. I believe we should not allow these obstacles to dictate how we respond to the environment around us. Learning healthy coping skills, challenging negative self talk, and setting effective boundaries can facilitate desired outcomes in our daily life. Given the opportunity, I would enjoy working with you right where you are. Let’s get to work!
I am deeply committed to walking alongside my clients as they explore and address the challenges they face. My approach is grounded in deep listening, providing thoughtful feedback, and helping you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your experiences. I believe true change happens when we are able to confront and process difficult emotions, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
In my practice, I use effective therapeutic techniques like Brainspotting and Culturally Competent approaches to help you work through the root causes of emotional distress. These methods allow for deeper healing and lasting change, helping you move past obstacles and embrace personal growth. I also ensure that your cultural background is always respected and incorporated into our work, creating a safe space where you can feel understood and supported.
Having struggled to find a therapist who truly embodies these values, I am dedicated to providing an inclusive, affirming, and safe environment for all of my clients. My goal is to help you live more authentically and confidently, fostering a sense of empowerment as you navigate your unique journey toward healing.
I am a compassionate and adaptable therapist who works with children, teens, young adults, , adults and older adults facing emotional, behavioral, academic and life challenges. My approach is client centered and eclectic, integrating attachment based therapy, culturally sensitive practices and family centered practices to meet each clients needs. I strive to create a safe supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel empowered to build insight, resilience and meaninful change.
My name is Joey Dolowy, (yes it rhymes and yes it is my name, enjoy) and I have been a professional therapist since June of 1998: I have pursued psychology and addiction since a friend over dosed and died when I was 13. I am motivated to help everyone who asks me, it feeds my spirit and it is such a huge part of my identity. I want to help you and I want to hear your story: please contact me and see if my style fits your needs: CHEERS.
I believe that even in the middle of a crisis, there is a real opportunity for growth. My path began in the theater and the study of Method Acting. This discipline focuses on how internal experience drives outward behavior. I apply this "inside-out" perspective to help you align your internal reality with your external actions. My way of working has evolved over time. I attended top universities and training programs. I was mentored by experts in the origins of trauma, addictions, and relationship difficulties. This foundation allowed me to build a successful group practice in Orange County. During that time, I taught at UC Irvine, chaired the Professional Practice Committee of the Orange County Psychological Association, and sat on its Board of Directors. In the midst of this success, I experienced a personal crisis and divorce. This led me on my own journey of growth. I began an extensive study of Buddhism and meditation which now guides how I live. I spent seven years living in Asia, where I studied with monks and cared for villagers.
What I offer now is an integration of strong academic training and Eastern teachings. My decision to become a psychologist grew from a desire to relieve suffering and transform challenges into opportunities for growth. I combine empirical psychological methods with the cultivation of an "awakened heart"—a state of genuine presence and social connection. I work to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be

My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered to work through internal barriers, strengthen emotional resilience, and build lasting well-being. As a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a competitive surfer, and a father to two incredible daughters, my life experiences have deeply shaped my perspective and clinical approach. The discipline, adaptability, and presence I developed through military service and years in the water inform my work, particularly with veterans, athletes, and high-performing individuals facing pressure or transition. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season or striving for personal growth, I bring authenticity, steadiness, and a genuine commitment to helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
I am a clinical psychologist with 18 years of experience working with a variety for people from young adult to older adults. Hello and Welcome! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I have received my Masters and Doctorate from California School of Professional Psychology. I help adults and children struggling with mental health concerns and addictions to improve various aspects of their life, such as interpersonal relationships, and employment. I offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where a person can be themself.
As a licensed therapist of more than thirty years, I have the experience and expertise to work with clients on a variety of issues. I provide a safe therapeutic environment that builds trust and openness. Clients who engage in the counseling process discover new energy for life and relationships. This results in positive change and increased self-awareness. I’m actively involved in the sessions, providing guidance, structuring interventions, and setting goals. Positive change happens one step at a time, trusting that life can get better. I also have expertise in anger management/domestic violence treatment.
I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, high-functioning depression, trauma, identity concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-generation individuals who are balancing multiple cultural, family, and societal expectations while trying to build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.
I believe meaningful change comes from both insight and action. Therapy can help you better understand your experiences, heal from past wounds, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
Hi. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I have years of experience working with clients in a psychiatric hospital setting as well as substance abuse outpatient treatment facility. I have worked with children, teens, and adults. I have worked with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, adjusting to new environments/life changes, and those working on their sobriety.
I am a husband, father and business owner who enjoys traveling, sports, music and chess. I grew up in Fort Myers, Florida and I have 2 children age 14 and 9. I became a therapist after pursuing different career paths in music and sports. I also spent a few years as a medical sales rep before 2020 and discovered a true passion for helping others improve their quality of life within online virtual therapy.
I am a licensed psychologist with experience across private practice, community mental‑health settings, and correctional settings. My clinical work focuses on helping patients understand the bidirectional connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical health. I provide structured and flexible, evidence‑based therapy informed by CBT, DBT, and EMDR, behavioral health, and contemporary clinical psychology.
My approach is direct and yet compassionate, collaborative and client-focused, and centered on measurable change. I help patients identify behavioral patterns, challenge distorted thinking, strengthen emotional regulation, understand the duality of the world (the tension of the opposites and how to find the fine balance in it), and build practical skills that support long‑term stability. I also integrate psychoeducation on the mind–body relationship, health behaviors, and the impact of chronic stress on psychological functioning. Evolutionary psychology and metaphors are a big part of my psycho-education as well.
I work with adults 18 to 64 years old, including individuals navigating medical illness, work‑related stress, family conflict, identity development, life and career transitions, lifestyle integration in California, and trauma histories. I also have specialized experience working with personality disorders and individuals facing complex psychosocial stressors.
As a naturalized, proud citizen of this country, I bring a unique perspective to therapy based on my life experiences, my work as a multicultural mental health professional, and my recognition not to take the freedom and opportunities we have in our country for granted.
I’m constantly working to expand my knowledge within my scope of practice. Currently, I’m completing a post‑graduate master’s degree in clinical psychopharmacology in order to integrate medical and psychological perspectives more comprehensively. This training helps me better recognize how medical and mental‑health conditions influence one another—connections that are often overlooked.
I also speak and provide therapy in Armenian and Russian.

I found myself becoming a psychotherapist through nudges from friends and family pointing me toward a field they believed suited me well. I'm so grateful I listened and changed careers from education to psychology; 10 years later, I'm writing this with great satisfaction about my profession. The work of joining a person in articulating, understanding, and organizing their experience is a wonderful thing. This work makes sense to me; I both enjoy serving others and the psychic rewards of their growth and success. I've worked in various settings, including CBT, college counseling, and psychodynamic clinics, as well as addiction medicine, behavioral health primary care, and medical integration with Kaiser Permanente. All of these contexts have combined to bring my clinical style together in an integrative-relational approach to treatment.

I'm Travis Buchanan, LMFT, LAADC, and I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling in your relationships, facing addiction, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a place to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward.
I've had the privilege of working with professionals, business owners, and others in demanding careers. Many are highly successful on the outside while privately carrying the weight of burnout, anxiety, loneliness, or relationship struggles. I understand the pressure of being the one others depend on.
My approach is grounded in the belief that people aren't broken. Together, we'll explore the patterns and beliefs that have shaped your life—not to dwell on the past, but to better understand the present and create lasting change. I combine compassion with practical strategies that help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live more in line with your values.
As both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I also have extensive experience helping people recover from substance use and behavioral addictions. I believe lasting recovery begins by understanding the purpose those behaviors once served and developing healthier ways to meet life's challenges.
Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, direct, and easy to talk to. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged.
If you're ready to take the next step—or simply curious whether therapy is right for you—I'd be honored to meet you.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, focusing on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and helping clients create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I understand how challenging it is to come to therapy and speak of subjects that can bring about fear, anxiety and feelings of being judged. Therapy is the safest of environments to bring up topics that have brought about great pain or arrest in one’s life. My hope for you is that therapy becomes a useful tool to transform your life into how you envision it to be. Life is too short not to be lived out to its fullest potential. By working with you, I hope to collaborate in a transformation process where life goals come to fruition. As your therapist, I am your advocate and will support you in all areas where challenges, obstacles and barriers are encountered. I hope this message finds you well and instills a sense of hope that anything, if one’s mind is put to it, is possible to change for the better.

Meeting life’s difficulties alone can be overwhelming. Together lets discover the beauty and purpose of our inner struggles. By doing so as a team we can share the burden of past failures and shed the pain that paves the way for our future successes. Obstacles in our path are only there to make us stronger. Life’s distressing moments are only that a moment. Our job is not to always avoid these events but to endure them and not make them worst.
My name is David Haro. I am a millennial Mexican-American born and raised in Southern California and I found my passion for mental health by growing up with a family members members who suffered from serious mental health concerns. I did not know it at the time, but those years of lived familial experience, as well as my own personal struggles, shaped me into the caring, empathetic, and compassionate human I feel I have become today. I try to meet my clients where they are in order to help them grow as much as they are able to in the time that we work together. I employ a Person-centered approach where the client is the expert, and I am a guide on their journey of self-discovery and healing. I look forward to working with you!
When it comes to the therapeutic experience, my treatment motto is “therapy is a collaborative journey.” In treatment, the client or the patient sets the pace for treatment. As a clinician, we are trained to meet our patienst and clients where they are, currently, and provide services as appropriate. I always use this analogy when introducing how treatment will proceed to clients. I explain to clients that the therapeutic journey is like a road trip. They are in the driver's seat. They are setting the pace. They are deciding the route and the destination. All I do, as their therapist, is hold the GPS, suggest alternative routes when needed, and set the music.

I also welcome discussion of issues like racism, homophobia, sexism, and how they affect us. Most of my experience has been with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente over the last 6 years, including the combination of depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and conflictual family dynamics.
