About me

Therapy is a very personal and intimate journey to self discovery, understanding & acceptance. It can also be a journey with an intimate partner in discovering connectedness & being present for the needs of your partner Clients seeking to explore the emotional depths within themselves & remove the barriers to achieving their desired life, will find a working partner in my practice. Whether it's feeling more connected in your relationships, reframing a negative thought process, or moving through your trauma, I am ready to help. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR & Imago Relationship Therapy using it successfully in my 20 years of practice helping clients dealing with depression, anxiety & relationship challenges. I have extensive experience in working with addictions & the relationship between your patterns of use & unresolved trauma, depression, or anxiety. I am a skilled trauma therapist, trained in EMDR. I have experience working with a diverse client population to include: issues related to sexual orientation, couples therapy, and the challenges created by overuse of social media and internet pornography. I recently acquired a program that will support bilateral stimulation in EMDR sessions while on video

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, I enjoy getting to know my clients. It's not a traditional kind of assessment as I gather information about my clients in conversation with them. It can frequently take 2-3 sessions to gather the info, but building rapport, safety and trust is most important to me. I also like to share a bit about myself and my practice in the first session, along with answering any questions from the client.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have a strong attachment to Buddhist teachings and the power of meditation and mindfulness. I have personal and professional experience in the areas of addiction and recovery, and I have worked extensively with chronic health conditions to include HIV/AIDS. I am an excellent listener with empathy and compassion for my client's experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Gay, Lesbian, Adults, Teens 15+, elders. A focus for each session will be issues related to client's presenting problem and any other topics that come into play that have impacted clients in a negative way.

My first interaction with action with Gregg I felt the warmness and comfort. If you're needing a nonjudgmental space to be yourself I recommend him as a provider.

I really enjoyed my initial chat with Gregg, he was warm, empathetic and felt like he genuinely cared about the issues I was bringing to the table. He seems knowledgeable in numerous therapeutic approaches and I'm excited to continue my journey with hi!
