I am a clinical psychologist with 18 years of experience working with a variety for people from young adult to older adults. I like to create a supportive environment that fosters growth, exploration, and healing. Building resiliency and adapting to life circumstance is an important aspect of what I do. I like to help people feel better while promoting independence and insight.
During our first session we will get to know each other and explore the concerns that you might have. We will discuss what concerns you would like to focus on and my ideas about possible ways to address these concerns.
Clients have told me that I am kind and compassionate, and that that it assists them in feeling safe and comfortable which allows them to discuss and address the concerns that they have. Clients have told me that I have a strong ability to assist them in discovering causes and patterns that help understand how to make adjustments in their life that assist them in addressing thiner concerns and feeling better.

I tend to explore concerns within awareness and just below awareness. In cases were a person says "I feel down lately, but not sure why i'm feeling this way". Would be an example of know one feels down (aware) but not sure why (just below awareness). I like to address concerns within awareness with coping approaches and discussions related to those concerns. I also like to address issues below awareness with exploration of thoughts, feelings and experiences.
