I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I take a client-centered approach to treatment, ensuring that each session is tailored to the unique needs and goals of my clients. In my sessions, I would like to hear from you. Think of me as an observer in your art gallery, not as a critic, but as someone who appreciates your vision and the story you tell. You are the artist, and as such, you will explain to me your pieces, your vision, and your creations. I will take these all in and reflect back to you your work, and if appropriate, draw parallels from your earlier creations.

Hey bestie!💛 I’m Saira Patino—your mental health cheerleader and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since getting my MSW from Edinboro University in 2017, I’ve been helping mujeres like you handle life’s chaos with care, humor, and real talk. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, identity stuff, or just feeling stuck, you're not alone. I work with Latinas from all walks of life—college students, working moms, first-gen professionals—who are carrying a lot on their shoulders. And let’s be real, navigating life while dealing with mental health challenges and cultural expectations? That ish is hard. But I gotchu!
I am native to the bay area of Northern California. I attended San Jose State University and received a master’s in Social Work. I have worked with severe mentally ill, drug and alcohol treatment, adolescents in crisis and have completed 5150 assessments concluding in safety plans or placed in a psychiatric hospital. I have been working in social services for 25+ years. My specialty has become working with teens and young adults who are struggling with the long term effects of trauma and low self-esteem.
Life can feel overwhelming when sadness, worry, or stress keep getting in the way of the life you want. I can help you find clarity, confidence, and balance again. Many of my clients are navigating relationship struggles, family conflict, or life transitions that leave them feeling stuck or uncertain.
My approach is both collaborative and practical, combining evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy with genuine compassion and support. I'm committed to forming a meaningful relationship with every client in a warm and supportive environment where you can feel safe when addressing issues of concern.
Do you feel like you have the insight but don’t quite know what to do with it- how to process it or heal? You are not alone. I help individuals and couples move beyond the surface to work through what is keeping them stuck. I use IFS, EMDR and other modalities to connect you to your wounds, unprocessed memories, and blocks. Together, we set to discover the parts of you that hold pain and unlock your full potential by exploring what is holding you back.
Couples:
If it feels like you’re speaking different languages or having the same argument over and over, you may be stuck in a negative cycle that’s hard to see from the inside. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), rooted in attachment theory, to help partners reconnect, communicate vulnerably, and rebuild.
Oftentimes, what stands in our way is fear—because we have a deeply rooted need to feel safe. I understand. It’s much easier to stay in something comfortable than to risk the unknown; our minds and bodies are wired that way. My hope is to reflect your strength and worth, and to provide a safe, trusting space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued.

Feeling "stuck" lately? With over two decades of experience helping adults navigate mid-life transitions, be it depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, or perhaps just feeling alone, I strive to help you feel supported, understood, & empowered to make lasting changes. My approach is solution-focused, goal-oriented, compassionate & client-centered. I provide sessions geared towards formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change. It helps you get "unstuck" and back in control!

Hi there, I’m Michelle,
Have you not felt like yourself lately? Are you struggling to find that happy, healthy, hopeful place in life? Whether it be from relationships, personal, or just life, sometimes we can just feel overwhelmed and out of sync with who we were or who we would like to become.
I am here to help facilitate that change. Together we can target the obstacles in your life and make a plan of action to put you on the right path. By using an integrative approach with effective therapeutic modalities we focus on the whole being to get you in balance.
My style is eclectic utilizing an empathetic position to build rapport while empowering you to become the stronger happier version of self. I combine affirmations and metaphoric narrative to separate you from the problem, allowing you to externalize the issues rather than internalize them.
I will meet you right where you are and provide a safe place for you to thrive and move forward.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

When people are challenged with changes that affect the ability to manage stressors, there comes a time for positive change and support. I am passionate about focusing on the healing process, whether it involves the challenges of exploring maladaptive behaviors or the triggers of trauma. I help my clients to find healthy coping mechanisms and self-autonomy which will lead to positive perceptions. This, in turn, creates personal identification and self-worth, thus creating healthy relationships. There is not one single approach for each individual, so I have trained in different modalities.

I am a queer BIPOC provider born and raised in the Bay. Because of the opportunities available to me, I love exploring different cultures through food, language, and travel. I bring that curiosity into session and seek to understand how past experiences including culture shape a client's view of the world. Outside of session, I enjoy music (was classically trained and am a musical theater geek), catching up on TV shows, and trying to cook, emphasis on try.
“Your wound is probably not your fault, but your healing is your responsibility.” Denice Frohman
Hello! Bienvenides!
You have made the choice to care for your mental health and I am so glad you're here!
I believe that tending to your wounds shouldn't happen in isolation and that healing is a responsibility, but not one you should bear alone. I have witnessed that true growth begins when you show up as you are (flaws, strengths, and all) and you allow yourself to be seen, heard, and cared for.
A lot of my experience is in trauma and parenting. These two topics can bring up so much! And they require a willingness to be vulnerable and transparent, but never at the expense of your wellbeing. That is why I believe that it is vital to meet you where you are, move at your pace, and to tailor therapeutic interventions to best suit your shifting needs and circumstances. I enjoy working with youth and parents that are cycle breakers, troublemakers, and get a dopamine rush out of challenging the status quo. Can't wait to meet you!
A little about me is that I am of Mexican descent (¡Viva Chihuahua y Sonora!) and have lived in Mexico, Arizona, Florida, and Michigan- and now California. I love creating memories with my family, gardening, being a parent, collaging, and reading.
You have already taken the biggest step, now let’s do the rest together!
Do you feel that life is more difficult than it should be? Are you feeling overburdened by worry or pulled down by hopelessness? These feelings are common and symptoms of anxiety and depression do a good job of making us feel pessimistic about getting past such struggles. If you're willing to be honest and have an idea of how you'd like your life to be different, therapy can help you overcome many personal challenges.
It is normal to have many questions (Where do I start? What do I say?) and to feel overwhelmed by the thought of starting therapy. By far the best predictor of success is how comfortable a person feels when talking with their therapist. While there is no way to guarantee a person and a therapist are a good fit, it is best to keep this in mind throughout treatment.
