Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), practicing in the state of Indiana. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Saint Mary's College in 2014 and Master's Degree in Social Work from Indiana University in 2017. Since then, I have worked with a wide variety of clients. I enjoy working with clients to help them achieve their life goals and live life to the fullest.
In our first session together, we will start with introductions to help get to know one another. I will ask about some of the issues that have brought you to seek counseling services and what your goals are for treatment. Hopefully, by the end of the session, we will have a general idea of treatment goals and objectives as well as a plan moving forward.
As a provider, I feel that my greatest strengths are allowing clients the opportunity to express themselves openly, free of judgement and criticism.
I enjoy working with adults 18 years and older, who are facing phase of life issues. This can range from living on your own for the first time to getting married and having children to sending your oldest child to college.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be used to treat a wide variety of mental disorders. It helps to reframe specific thoughts and beliefs that negatively impact a person's day to day life. Changing those statements to one that is more beneficial to each person's particular situation.
Strength-Based practice is used to highlight the skills that each client is already in possession of, when they begin therapy. Sometimes, we are not aware of all of our strengths, and it is helpful to have someone identify them and educate on how to use them efficiently.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy can be beneficial for many different mental disorders, including borderline personality disorder. It includes psychoeducation on distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills alongside mindfulness practices.
