About me

Life brings challenges that we aren't always ready for, understand, or are equipped to deal with on our own. As a therapist, I am passionate about coming alongside others to help them find their way through those difficult experiences whether past or present. It's my hope to create a space of safety, belonging, and care. I approach all my clients with an open mind and heart that is working towards the outcomes you desire to become a reality in your life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first therapy session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where I take time to learn about your background, current concerns, and goals, while also explaining what therapy might look like and answering any questions you have. It's my hope that we will start building a sense of trust and collaboration so you feel comfortable and supported as we move forward in the therapeutic process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to I bring a calm and empathetic presence, helping clients feel safe enough to explore difficult emotions and experiences. My integrative approach allows me to draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs. Above all, I offer genuine care, deep listening, and a commitment to helping clients uncover their strengths and move toward meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open to self-exploration and ready to engage in the process of personal growth, even if they feel uncertain or anxious about where to start. They may be struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, or life transitions but are willing to show up and take small, meaningful steps toward change. I value working with clients who are curious about understanding themselves more deeply and who want to build healthier patterns, greater self-compassion, and a stronger sense of purpose in their lives.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help clients find their own reasons for change in a way that feels supportive and empowering. I’ve found that when I take the time to really listen and reflect what clients are saying—without judgment or pressure—they begin to uncover their own motivation and confidence to move forward. Using open-ended questions and affirmations helps me connect with clients on a deeper level and understand what truly matters to them. I especially like using MI when clients feel stuck or unsure about making changes, because it allows us to work together to clarify their goals and build their sense of self-efficacy. For me, it’s not about convincing someone to change, but about helping them discover the “why” behind their change in a compassionate, collaborative way.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility and live more in line with their values. I often encourage clients to notice and accept their thoughts and feelings rather than struggle against them, teaching mindfulness strategies to help them stay grounded in the present moment. Together, we explore what truly matters to them—whether it’s relationships, personal growth, or well-being—and identify actions that move them closer to those values, even when discomfort arises. I find ACT especially powerful because it helps clients shift from trying to eliminate difficult emotions to learning how to make space for them while still pursuing meaningful goals. This approach allows me to support clients in creating lives that feel authentic and fulfilling, even in the presence of pain or uncertainty.

Compassion Focused

I strive to take a compassion-focused approach by creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported. I help clients cultivate self-compassion, especially when they’re struggling with self-criticism or shame, so they can begin to treat themselves with the same kindness they offer others. By emphasizing compassion, I aim to foster healing, resilience, and a deeper sense of self-acceptance

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences in a safe and structured way. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts related to their trauma while building coping skills to manage distress and strengthen emotional regulation. My goal is to help clients regain a sense of safety, empowerment, and control as they move toward recovery.
