Hello, I'm glad you're here. As a therapist, I believe in addressing the whole person. My approach is rooted in compassion and centered around nurturing your overall well-being. As a therapist specializing in anxiety and depression and utilizing a holistic approach, I offer a unique blend of traditional psychotherapy techniques along with complementary approaches such as mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and body-centered therapies.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then discuss the specific challenges, or needs you may have. This will help me create a plan focused on what we will work though in the following sessions. I believe that a successful therapeutic relationship starts with good rapport between therapist and client, and I believe in the importance of being honest with one another if we feel that it isn't a good fit.
I typically utilize a Client-Centered approach and depending on the clients, I believe in the power of CBT, DBT Skills, Solution-Focused therapy. I approach therapy from a holistic perspective.
Having worked with individuals and couples in the past 7 years, I have found that my strengths lie within empowering individuals to take control of their lives and work toward individual wellness that may in turn lead to healing in their relationships and lives.
I love working with adults and teens in different phases of their lives. My clients are eager to improve and make changes but don’t yet have the appropriate tools to make this goal a reality. They often feel anxious, stuck, and overwhelmed by life’s different stressors.
