About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full self—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in helping you understand not only what you are experiencing, but also the patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to where you are today. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, and feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. Together, we’ll work to strengthen coping skills, challenge patterns that are no longer serving you, establish healthier boundaries, and create meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy room. My goal is not to tell you who to become, but to help you gain the clarity, confidence, and tools to create a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I look forward to meeting you and learning more about what brings you to therapy. During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another, explore what you’re currently experiencing, and identify what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, vulnerable, and fully yourself without fear of judgment. As we continue working together, we’ll move beyond simply talking about what’s happening and focus on identifying patterns, building practical tools, and taking meaningful steps toward the changes you want to see in your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I take a collaborative and individualized approach to therapy, recognizing that each client’s experiences, needs, and goals are unique. I help clients move beyond simply understanding what they are experiencing by identifying patterns, developing practical coping strategies, strengthening boundaries, and building greater confidence in themselves. My goal is to support clients in creating meaningful, sustainable change while providing the compassion, accountability, and encouragement they need throughout the process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults, couples, and families navigating Bipolar Disorder, depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship challenges, family conflict, communication difficulties, and major life transitions. I help clients better understand their emotions and patterns, recognize triggers, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical coping strategies that work in everyday life. With couples and families, I focus on improving communication, addressing unhealthy patterns, rebuilding connection, strengthening boundaries, and creating healthier relationships. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each client, couple, or family, with the goal of creating greater stability, self-awareness, connection, and meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used type of psychotherapy. It helps individuals identify and change negative thinking patterns and behaviors. The therapy focuses on developing coping skills for present-day challenges. CBT is often short-term and goal-oriented, focusing on practical solutions. It empowers individuals to manage their thoughts, feelings, and actions more effectively.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapies cultivate present moment awareness without judgment. These interventions encourage individuals to observe their thoughts, feelings, and sensations. Techniques like meditation and mindful movement help develop this awareness. This approach can be beneficial for managing stress, anxiety, and depression. Mindfulness-based therapies empower individuals to respond to challenges with greater clarity and composure.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training offers a comprehensive approach to managing emotions and improving relationships. This evidence-based therapy teaches practical techniques for navigating challenging situations and building resilience. Core skills modules include mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. These modules work synergistically to foster self-awareness and improve coping mechanisms. Through consistent practice and application, individuals can develop healthier patterns of behavior and enhance their overall well-being.

I read a few profiles before choosing her. She had kind eyes and a caring spirit. I love her energy. It was important to me that I could laugh and cry without judgement. She created a safe space from day one. She allows me to be me. Aareon is everything! I am so very grateful to have found her on this platform and feel confident that she will help me grow in the areas I struggle with. Thank you Aareon. I am truly grateful and I can't wait for our next session!

My first time ever trying therapy and I hit the jackpot right away. I’ve never felt like I could breathe so easily with anyone else when talking about my life.
