Welcome! I’m honored that you’re considering making your mental health a priority. Taking that first step can feel uncomfortable, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I enjoy working with adults who are navigating challenges such as, anxiety, anger, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. My goal is to create a safe, warm, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe you are the captain of your journey, and I’m here as your co-pilot to provide support and guidance along the way. Maya Angelou said, “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive.” So let’s work together to move beyond simply getting through life and create a life where you can truly thrive.

DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.

My goal is to meet you where you are by bringing a compassionate approach backed by formal training and experience and be a part of your goals in the change process. I am very personable as well as professional and I do not believe in one-sided relationships. I have a multidisciplinary, eclectic approach to therapy in which I utilize techniques and principles from a variety of modalities to include Christian based. My counseling is geared toward treating the whole person from a biopsychosocial spiritual standpoint. I view counseling as a calling and not as a career and that it is a collaborative effort in which I learn and grow as a result of every interaction. Some of the experiences that have contributed to my professional identity and approach to mental health treatment are my formal education at Pensacola Christian College where I received a BA in Pastoral Ministry and Liberty University where I received a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked as a therapist under regulatory agencies for 6 years and have worked in Christian Ministry since my ministerial ordination in 2003. Demographics I have served have included inpatient and outpatient care, private practice, substance abuse issues, psychotic spectrum disorders, gender identity issues, personality disorders, sex addiction, family and relationship issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Spirituality, and men’s issues. My experiences as a combat military veteran, teacher, father, husband, and a person who has experienced my own traumas and failures have contributed to my professional development. I look forward to getting to know you!

Hi! I am a heterosexual cisgender woman, and my husband and I have a high school aged son. I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri but I have lived in Florida for 35 years and I consider it my home. I think of myself as a girl-next-door therapist. New clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to and that they feel better after the first session. I like to use humor whenever possible. My approach is gentle and humble. I'll never go beyond your comfort level of discussion. Your session with me is where you can spew your thoughts, cry, talk about yourself and even the thoughts you have that would be offensive to others. I have had clients say things about their life or people in their lives that would not be acceptable in most settings, and being able to talk about it is often very freeing. I became a master's level social worker at 32, and my life experience prior to that enabled my ability to understand different types of people and what motivates them. I've been in this field for 17 years and I have worked in foster care, hospice and other medical settings.

*Currently accepting new clients for individual therapy only. Couples and family therapy are no longer being offered through this platform. * I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or pressured to have everything figured out. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, burnout, and difficulties with self-esteem. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. We won't just talk about what's happening in your life; we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and develop tools to help you move forward. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, I bring a systems-oriented perspective to individual therapy. I help clients explore how their relationships, upbringing, experiences, and beliefs influence the way they see themselves and interact with others. Whether you're struggling to establish boundaries, feeling disconnected from yourself, processing a difficult relationship, or simply tired of carrying everything alone, our work will focus on helping you build emotional clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of navigating life. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I'm a short-term, solution-oriented therapist that focuses on identifying and relieving on mild-to-moderate mental health symptoms, likely related to newer onset life stressors: family and relationship issues, school and work, grief and loss, medical diagnoses, etc. Though I would love to serve all that are seeking mental health therapy, it's important that I remain within my scope of competence and scope of practice. Therefore, I'm ethically unable to accept clients seeking long-term/maintenance care or specialized interventions (e.g., trauma, OCD, etc.). My approach to therapy tends to resonate best with clients who are moderately motivated to truly seek out solutions to their issues and symptoms, and are willing to do the work- both in session, and out- to achieve the results desired. We collaborate to identify the issues, and put in the actual work to make change for resolution. Though I am a clinician that utilizes evidence-based practices and interventions, I would definitely say I'm also a bit of a life coach!

I'm Juan Carlos Martell, a Miami-based LMHC serving clients across Florida since 2019, and founder of Psych Life, Inc. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation; not a clinical evaluation. When you sit with me, you're not a diagnosis or a case file. You're a person navigating something difficult, and you deserve to be met with warmth, honesty, and genuine understanding. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy to help you work through what's weighing you down while reconnecting with what actually matters to you. CBT gives you practical, evidence-based tools to shift the thought patterns keeping you stuck. Existential therapy invites us to go deeper, exploring questions about identity, purpose, and the kind of life you truly want to build. Together, they create change that's both practical and meaningful. I work with adults, teens, couples and kids in navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and the quiet question so many of us carry: "Is this really the life I want?" Sessions with me are warm, direct, and free of jargon. You'll leave with tools you can actually use; not just insight, but real strategies for your everyday life. Outside the therapy room, I'm a published author of The Adventures of Kevin and Friends, a children's mental health book series designed to help families talk openly about emotions like anxiety, depression, and bullying. I'm also the creator of PsychLife on Instagram, making psychology accessible to people who never thought therapy was "for them," and the founder of MindfulPractice, an upcoming mental health app rooted in CBT, ACT, and mindfulness. Everything I do comes back to one mission: making mental health real, relatable, and within reach. You don't have to figure it out alone. Be the artist of your own life.

Hello, I am Dr. Beverly Regisford-Henry, a licensed psychotherapist in Florida and New York. With over ten years of clinical experience and more than twenty years in education, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, educational insight, and genuine compassion to my work with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families. While my education and credentials (Psy.D., M.S.Ed., LCSW, CAGCS) have prepared me for this work, it is my ability to connect with people, see beyond their immediate struggles, and recognize the strengths they may not yet see in themselves that gives my work its deepest meaning. I believe everyone has a unique story and deserves a safe, compassionate space to be heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Having walked school hallways, partnered with parents, and supported families through real-life challenges, I understand the quieter struggles young people often carry. Central to my therapeutic philosophy is the belief that children do not heal in isolation. Meaningful change often involves strengthening relationships, empowering caregivers, and supporting the entire family system. My work also extends to adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, family conflict, depression, and life transitions. Whether supporting a child struggling with emotions, a young adult finding direction, or an adult facing personal challenges, my commitment remains the same: helping each person discover their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and move forward with confidence and hope. My therapeutic approach is creative, experiential, and relational. Therapy goes beyond conversation and may include expressive techniques, guided role-play, storytelling, and developmentally appropriate activities. Each approach is tailored to the individual's needs, fostering meaningful connections, personal growth, and lasting positive change.

My path to becoming your therapist is somewhat unique compared to others in the field. Over the years, I have built a diverse professional background that began with a career in sales. I then transitioned into the Long-Term Care Industry, where I served as both an Admissions and Marketing Director and a Director of Social Services. In addition to these roles, I have been actively involved in my community, working as an HIV/AIDS Intervention Specialist and a Substance Abuse Counselor. For a decade, I also had the privilege of serving as a Licensed Pastor. On a personal level, my life has been enriched by becoming a husband, a father, and more recently, a grandfather. Throughout my journey, I have experienced many of life’s joys and victories. At the same time, I have learned valuable lessons from self-inflicted setbacks and from dealing with the consequences of choices that cannot be changed.

Hi, I’m Kim, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) with over 15 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, substance use concerns, and difficult life transitions. I am trained in EMDR and have a particular interest in helping clients process painful experiences and move toward healing at a pace that feels safe and manageable. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe, heard, respected, and free from judgment. Together, we can explore how past experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and patterns of substance use or other coping behaviors may be affecting your life while developing healthier ways of coping and responding. I integrate EMDR with evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My work emphasizes emotional regulation, self-awareness, healthy boundaries, communication, self-compassion, and practical coping skills. When addressing substance use, I provide a nonjudgmental space to explore triggers, motivation for change, underlying emotional needs, and healthier strategies for managing stress and difficult emotions. I recognize that trauma, grief, mental health concerns, and substance use can be interconnected. Painful experiences may influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and cope with distress. I approach this work with careful attention to emotional safety, preparation, stabilization, and readiness. Therapy does not need to be rushed. I value building a genuine therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences, recognizing your strengths, and making meaningful changes that feel realistic and sustainable. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you better understand what you are carrying, and support you in building greater confidence, resilience, healthier coping strategies, and trust in yourself as you move forward.

I want my clients to feel more grounded and confident in their ability to manage stressors and regulate their emotions consistently and effectively. I began working in mental health as an intern in 2022. I have worked with a variety of diagnosis, ages, and functioning levels in group and individual therapy settings. My approach is warm and nonjudgmental. There’s nothing that can’t be talked about together. I truly care for every one of my clients and I feel honored to be invited to be part of something so meaningful and life enhancing. I’ve experienced my own struggles with mental health and trauma and I’ve learned a lot: about how it feels, what has been helpful and that feeling content with yourself, your relationships and your life really is possible. Anxiety and OCD can be managed, traumas can be processed and healed, challenging and loving relationships can be strengthened. I specialize in OCD, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, parenting challenges and other relationship challenges. My goal with every client is to walk with them into being more fully themselves, like wading through the muck of difficult histories, seemingly impossible anxieties and fears and minds that learned long ago to sabotage rather than enable. And so we shake the muck off, even as we feel it’s almost swallowed us, by looking at it, taking it apart, recognizing patterns and learning new habits.

Healing can feel like carrying a weight you've learned to live with, until it finally gets too heavy. I help adults, teens, and seniors in Florida work through anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, grief, and the stress of family or relationship conflict, so you can feel steady again instead of just getting by. With 25 years as a licensed clinical social worker, I draw on CBT, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy, tailored to what you're carrying, not a one size fits all script. I also understand how cultural background and physical health challenges shape mental health.

You may be the person everyone depends on, the one who keeps things moving, shows up for others, and carries more than most people realize. But underneath that, you may be feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what you need for yourself. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family conflict, relationship concerns, identity, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ individuals and people of color who may be navigating questions of identity, belonging, relationships, family expectations, or experiences that have shaped how they see themselves.
