New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents facing challenges such as trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I serve clients who are seeking support in navigating difficult life transitions, processing loss, or managing overwhelming emotions. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, using evidence-based methods like CBT and EMDR to help clients build coping skills, reframe unhelpful thought patterns, and heal from painful experiences. The impact I strive for is to empower clients to feel more resilient, regain a sense of control, and move forward with hope and confidence.
Your first session is all about you. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—you set the pace. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter knowing you don’t have to walk through this alone.
I use evidence-based methods like CBT and EMDR, but what really guides my work is empathy and understanding from my own experiences with life’s ups and downs. I’ve walked through moments of stress, loss, and change myself, so I can relate to the challenges my clients face. I create a safe, supportive space where people can process difficult experiences, build coping skills, and start to feel more in control and hopeful about their lives.
I work best with people who are carrying heavy emotions—whether it’s grief, trauma, anxiety, or just feeling stuck—and who are ready for change, even if they’re not sure what that looks like yet. My clients often want to understand themselves better, find relief from the constant weight they’re carrying, and build tools to cope in healthier ways. If you’re looking for a safe, supportive space to process what you’ve been through and start moving toward peace and resilience, I’m here to walk alongside you.
I have experience using CBT with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. I focus on helping them identify unhelpful thought patterns, reframe those thoughts, and practice new coping skills. I also integrate behavioral strategies like activation or exposure, and I often use homework to reinforce progress between sessions. I find CBT effective because it’s practical, collaborative, and adaptable to each client’s needs.
I have training and experience using EMDR with clients who have experienced trauma, grief, or distressing life events. In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients process traumatic memories in a safe, structured way, reducing the intensity of emotional and physiological responses. I guide clients through bilateral stimulation while focusing on specific memories, and we work to reprocess the memory so it feels less triggering and more manageable. I also integrate EMDR with grounding and coping strategies to ensure clients feel safe and supported throughout the process. I find it particularly effective for clients who may feel stuck in traditional talk therapy, as it helps them move toward resolution and healing.
