I became a therapist because I believe genuine human connection and feeling truly understood can be transformative. I’m passionate about creating a safe, compassionate and empowering space where clients feel seen, supported, and encouraged to build resilience, overcome challenges, and create meaningful lasting change. I have a strong passion for learning and I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge of psychology and therapeutic approaches. I value ongoing professional growth and strive to bring current, evidence-based techniques into my work to best support my clients.
Your first session isn't about having all the answers or knowing exactly what you need from therapy. It's an opportunity for us to get to know each other, talk about what's been weighing on you, and begin identifying what you would like to change. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences and goals, but we'll take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you. From there, we'll create a personalized plan and begin developing practical strategies to help you better manage what's weighing on you. Most importantly, I want you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
Clients often tell me they appreciate a therapist who is warm, genuine, easy to talk to, and practical. My goal isn't simply to listen, it's to help you understand why you're feeling stuck while giving you tools you can begin using immediately. My sessions are conversational, supportive and I make sure to check in to see what feels most safe and right for you. I like to focus on practical tools that you can utilize right away.
I specialize in assisting clients heal from anxiety, panic, self-esteem and confidence issues, trauma, grief and loss, work/life balance and life transitions. I use treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy to help my client identify troubling situations and how their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions affect the situation. I then create a treatment plan that is unique to each client that will help them address their areas of concern.
I use compassion focused therapy to make sure the client feels safe and supported. I emphasize the importance of client going at their own pace to share their stressors and concerns. I feel like compassion focused therapy is important for any therapist to provide their clients for them to feel comfortable to share their life stressors and concerns.

My therapist Dalia makes me feel comfortable, is always warm and welcoming. She is also open minded to what I say and if I have any suggestions. She works well with problem solving with me, and helping me come up with solutions that I can do where I am mentally at in that moment.

Dahlia was very easy to talk to during my first session. She validated what I was feeling and made a point to get to know me pretty well, even during our first meeting. I feel like I was able to give her a good overview of my issues and what they may have stemmed from, which gives us a good platform to start to work through my anxiety and self-image issues.
