I’m Kendall Barron, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to helping individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. I received my Master of Science in Clinical Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and have spent the past six years working as a school‑based mental health counselor supporting children, adolescents, and families through a wide range of emotional and behavioral needs. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged in your healing process. I welcome you to reach out and begin your journey toward growth and well‑being.
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, personal history, symptoms, and stressors, and we’ll also review informed consent, confidentiality, and your rights as a client. My goal is to create a supportive, comfortable space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll begin identifying treatment goals, explore what you hope to gain from therapy, and address any questions you may have as we start this process.
I provide a warm and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered. I listen deeply, offer practical tools that fit real‑life situations, and create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. My approach stands out because it’s warm, collaborative, and grounded in meaningful growth, helping therapy feel approachable and supportive from the very beginning.
I specialize in working with individual who are navigating various life challenges. If you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety/stress and/or depression, know that you're not alone. In my practice, I use Supportive Therapy to help clients feel heard, validated, and empowered during difficult life experiences. My approach focuses on building a trusting therapeutic relationship while helping clients strengthen coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and develop practical strategies to navigate challenges. I tailor sessions to each client's needs, providing guidance, encouragement and a safe space for growth and healing.
I use an Eclectic Therapy approach by integrating techniques from different evidence-based methods to best meet each client's unique needs. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor treatment by drawing from multiple therapeutic approaches to help clients gain insight, build coping skills, and make meaning progress toward their goals.
I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a core foundation in my work with clients. CBT helps individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, understand how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier coping strategies. While CBT is widely incorporated in my sessions, I also integrate a variety of other approaches to ensure treatment is personalized, practical and aligned with each client's unique needs and goals.

I’d choose all of them, but only allowed 2. Equally insightful and immediately creating a safe space to get my thoughts out. Very down to earth person who breaks down thought process and reminds me I’m human and nobody is perfect. Love her sense of humor!
