New to Grow
I’m Rachel, a therapist passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they navigate life’s transitions and challenges. I create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what’s on your mind and learn practical tools for growth and balance. I also help clients work through relationship struggles—whether that means navigating conflict, setting healthy boundaries, or healing after a breakup. My down-to-earth style makes therapy feel supportive, empowering, and real.
In our first session, we’ll take things at your pace. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you—what brings you in, what’s been on your mind, and what you hope to get out of therapy—but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with. We’ll also talk about how I work and answer any questions you might have, so you know what to expect moving forward. Think of it as a chance for us to get to know each other and decide together how therapy can best support you.
My greatest strength as a therapist are creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard. My goal is to empower you with both understanding and skills, so you feel grounded, supported, and ready to grow.
I love to support young adults and new parents who are navigating big life changes, adjusting to new roles, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to “have it all together.” Many of my clients are working through stress, anxiety, self-doubt, or the challenges of balancing relationships, career, and personal growth. Whether you’re stepping into adulthood or parenthood, I provide a supportive space to process what you’re experiencing and develop practical tools to feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your daily life.
In our sessions, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we’ll break down unhelpful thought patterns and find practical strategies you can use in everyday life—whether that’s managing stress from classes, handling social pressures, or navigating big life changes. CBT is collaborative and skills-based, so you’ll leave with tools you can actually apply outside of therapy to feel more confident, balanced, and in control.
In our sessions, I integrate mindfulness-based therapy to help you slow down and create space from the constant busyness of life. Mindfulness is about learning to be present with your thoughts and emotions without judgment, so you can respond rather than react. Together, we’ll practice tools that can reduce stress, improve focus, and bring a greater sense of balance—skills you can use in relationships, at work, or in everyday life to feel more grounded and intentional.
