I'm so glad you are here! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio with many years of experience. I enjoy telehealth as a way to meet lots of new clients. I have worked privately and in the community with individuals, families, and couples. I have worked with adults and children and have experience in prisons and juvenile detention facilities, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and schools. I enjoy helping clients with stress, anxiety, anger, depression, family and relationship issues, marriage, co-parenting, life transition, teen issues, grief, career counseling, & domestic violence.
I use a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental approach to counseling. I can help you recognize self-defeating thoughts and make positive changes using cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy. I believe that you are the expert on your story and have many strengths that will assist in overcoming things that challenge you. I also add a bit of humor to make our sessions enjoyable.
All of my sessions are virtual and I love being able to connect with clients from wherever they are comfortable. I work alongside you to help you take steps to explore yourself, become the best version of yourself, work through hard times, and meet your goals. We will build on your strengths so that you leave our sessions feeling equipped and empowered! Taking the first step to seek a more fulfilling life or relationship takes courage! I will support that process and look forward to our journey together.
Clients typically feel comfortable with me right away due to my welcoming demeanor and down to Earth interactions. I love helping clients become the best version of themselves and work through symptoms and hang-ups. Seeing couples grow and gain a more meaningful relationship is one of my favorite things! Therapy is work, but if you can commit to that, I promise to help you get where you want to be.
