About me

Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Master’s at Lynn University. I am also trained in EMDR and am a USMC Veteran. I work with adult clients who may feel lost or struggle with spirituality, work, or life stress, and assist them in learning more about themselves and develop/grow the desire and willingness to grow and become better versions of themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will begin with introductions, then discuss the presenting challenges and the therapeutic process together. Afterward, we will work together to create an effective treatment plan to tackle and overcome the challenges in the following sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With the experience I have gained working in treatment with a dual-diagnosis focus, I have developed an effective approach that not only identifies the root cause but also outlines healing methods and identifies growth and healing throughout the process.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adults who seek to grow in different areas of their lives, including spiritually. I also love to work with adults who seek to overcome their anxiety and overthinking. I also enjoy working with those who may need assistance within their Christian walk. I love working with veterans, Christians, and many others who are seeking to overall heal and improve their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT a lot to assist with many challenges including overthinking, anxiety, and self-esteem. CBT is good to help identify any distorted thoughts that may cause one to have an increase in anxiety, or depression, or other issues.

EMDR

I use EMDR to assist with many who have struggled with Trauma. This is a good way to not only identify, but also tackle the unresolved trauma that affects many. I also like to use this on top of including grounding techniques to assist with managing trauma-related symptoms.

Chris is very nice very inviting or safe to talk to, nonjudgmental, understanding of where you are at that time with your life issues or concerns. Always ask what do you see for yourself or want for yourself and how can I help you get there, but he does ask questions that make you think about what it is that you’re sharing and why you are feeling that way to get to the bottomof those feelings and how to redirect them into positivity.
