Hi, I’m Sue Shannon. With over 25 years of experience as an outpatient therapist, I’ve had the privilege of supporting both children and adults through a vast and diverse range of life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in the belief that therapy should be as practical as it is supportive.
I’m committed to creating a goal-focused environment where you aren't just heard and understood, but where we work together to build a clear, actionable plan for the future. Whether you're navigating a long-standing hurdle or a new life transition, I bring two decades of insight to help you find your footing and move forward.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 17 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. My counseling style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and valued. I am committed to creating a safe and respectful space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and move toward lasting change. My experience extends to those struggling with disordered eating, addictions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and family conflict.
I also have extensive experience supporting individuals who feel stuck or conflicted about their relationships, including those weighing the decision to stay or leave. Rather than pushing a specific outcome, I help clients explore their feelings, values, and patterns so they can make thoughtful, empowered choices and feel supported no matter the direction they take. My goal is to help clients build clarity, self-trust, and meaningful change while knowing they don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m a dedicated mental health professional with over 10 years of experience in the helping professions, driven by a deep passion for supporting people in creating meaningful, lasting change. I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based approach that helps clients regain control and build confidence in facing intrusive thoughts and fears.
In addition to OCD, I have extensive experience working in addiction and behavioral health, supporting individuals through recovery with compassion, structure, and practical tools for sustainable progress. I also work with anxiety disorders and phobias, helping clients better understand their patterns and gradually overcome avoidance so they can live more freely.
A core part of my work focuses on self-confidence and self-image. I help clients challenge negative self-beliefs, strengthen their sense of identity, and develop a more balanced and compassionate relationship with themselves.
My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and tailored to each individual’s goals. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering—giving you the skills, insight, and confidence to navigate life’s challenges long after our work together ends.
Welcome, I’m Ben, a licensed counselor in Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and regain a sense of balance in their lives. My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s unique story.
I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, helping them find safety, empowerment, and hope through the healing process. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and person-centered therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s needs.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and offer EMDR therapy virtually, providing clients with an effective way to process traumatic experiences and reduce distressing symptoms from the comfort of their own space.
While trauma work is a key focus, I welcome clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking greater self-understanding, I aim to create a supportive environment where you can explore, heal, and grow at your own pace.
I have always held a deep affection for the field of Human Services since the day my siblings came to me seeking advice for whatever problems they had. That personal experience fueled my pursuit of a career in counseling and therapy. My credentials include a Master's in Human Services, a Licensed Professional Counselor in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and a National Certified Counselor. For over 40 years, I have been blessed with opportunities to serve as a clinician across diverse settings, including Child Welfare, Criminal Justice, Education, the Corporate Sector, and Military Family Life (all branches). I pride myself in being an instrument that provides a genuine, safe space for clients to embrace who they are while welcoming change, operating with the core belief that “everything starts and ends with the individual".
**If my availability does not reflect the day or time that is needed, feel free to message me, as my availability sometimes changes due to client rescheduling.

I also bring a strong spiritual awareness into sessions if that’s important to you. Many of my clients appreciate integrating their faith and values into therapy, and I’m honored to support that part of your life as well.
Together, we’ll create a path that supports your goals, your pace, and your voice. You're not alone—and your healing matters.
Hi! I'm Dana, a licensed therapist (LPC) in Philadelphia for adults who are tired of the way their past experiences keep impacting the way they show up in the present, who feel like their feelings are "too much", and who get stuck overthinking everything but are unable to change in the ways they'd like.
If you're struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues and/or low self esteem; I'm here to tell you that there isn't anything 'wrong' with you. You aren't broken, you have simply learned to cope in ways that are no longer serving you. You don't need to be labeled or pathologized, you need to be supported by someone who actually gets you.
Hi, I’m Nick. You might be here because you’re tired of pretending you’re fine when you’re really not. Maybe you overthink everything, shut down, get irritated with people you care about, or just feel like you’re carrying a lot and don’t totally know why. For some people, it goes a bit deeper than that. You might have grown up being seen as the “problem” in your family, or the one who got blamed or was maybe made to feel like too much. A lot of the people I work with are LGBTQIA+ or neurodivergent (not everyone, though!), or still figuring that out, and have spent a long time masking parts of themselves just to get through.
That kind of experience can mess with your sense of self. You might second-guess your reactions and feel guilty, or not even be sure what you’re feeling half the time. Therapy with me is a place where you don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect explanation or a clear goal, we can just start with whatever feels most relevant.
Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my master's degree in Community Counseling from the University of Slippery Rock, Pa and I have continued to practice within the use of cognitive based therapy for over 22 years. I assist adolescents to adults with managing symptoms and negative thinking patterns associated with depression, anxiety and intrusive thoughts which can remain a barrier towards your desired outcomes. I specialize in decreasing thought distortions that lead to anxiety and teaching coping skills to assist in managing anxiety symptoms as they present. I work most often from a strength-based approach in supporting clients as they learn to identify and challenge beliefs and experiences, which can drive depressive symptoms.
I am currently working as an LCSW providing readjustment counseling services to Veterans, their spouses, and families. Throughout my education and current work I can make an impact on my clients by helping them learn the tools they need to move forward in a more positive manner with regard to mental health. My goal is to give my clients the tools they need to have the most optimal outcome.
Hi, I'm Trish Pierzga, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6+ years of experience. I know that life can be challenging and difficult. I also know that it is easy to feel stuck. My goal for each session is help you feel comfortable so you can explore and move past those challenges.
When I think about what I look for in a therapist myself, it is someone who listens, is not afraid to challenge me, and helps guide me through life's transitions. I believe I bring this style to my own clients. I love what I do and I bring this excitement into my sessions because I want people to feel safe and grow in their confidence to overcome the obstacles they are facing.
Hi! I'm a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with 6 years of experience in the therapy field. I love supporting teens and adults in building awareness around how experiences have shaped them and ways to unlearn some of the habits that are no longer serving them. I use art therapy and mindfulness to support clients in exploring their authentic selves and building resilience. Whether you are new to therapy or have tried talk therapy and are ready to try something different, I am here to help! I am honored to be able to offer guidance to clients in feeling safe and at peace in the present moment and move forward on their journey of self-understanding.

Hi, I'm Laura - a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience working with adults in case management and housing-focused roles. I graduated from Rutgers School of Social Work in 2016 and have spent my career showing up for people navigating some of life's hardest moments.
My approach is strength-based, supportive, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation - not a lecture - and I'm not afraid to bring some humor into the room when it fits. I build rapport quickly and create a space where clients feel genuinely comfortable from the start.
Outside of the therapy room I'm passionate about supporting helping professionals through their own licensure and development journeys. When I'm not working I'm probably running, playing with my cats, hanging out with my family, and finding caffeine to help me function.
My biggest passion has always been to help others, and I am so grateful I can achieve that as a therapist. Helping my clients identify struggles and find new skills for coping makes my work as a therapist very rewarding. My personal life and professional life can often overlap since I value service, holistic healing, spirituality and community. I love animals, and when I'm not with my fur babies Ayla, Lynx and Bandit, I spend some of my free time volunteering at one of my local animal shelters. I enjoy working out and prioritizing movement to keep myself energized and strong. I deeply enjoy quality time with my husband, our family and friends, as well as growing in my own faith and spirituality.

Hello my name is Michelle Miele. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and am a Certified Trauma Professional. Helping those who struggle with anxiety, OCD and trauma is my passion. I believe that individual development and prosperity are possible for anyone who is ready for change. You do not have to go through life’s challenges alone.
Hello! My name is Max Croteau and I have had the pleasure of being a licensed professional counselor for almost 10 years now. In this time, I have been able to mold my style of understanding, accepting while also challenging and motivational into a successful model of growth and change for those who choose to work with me. I truly am a believer that therapy can sometimes be a side-by-side process, or it can be a process where one guides and the other follows, but ultimately the choice is up to you. I don’t want you to live a life that I tell you to live. I want to help you find a life that is truly a genuine fit for yourself and one that you can see yourself living without even having to think about it. I’ve specialized in addiction, OCD, trauma therapy, family and couples counseling and various other topics in the world of mental health. One important factor that I have found is that each person has their own individual story and their journey will be just as individualized. No matter how similar, we are all different. A cookie cutter approach to the rest of your life is not something that you will get from me. I will truly meet you where you are and work with you every step of the way to achieve the success that you are looking for. I always guarantee every person I work with that therapy may not be easy, but in the end, it will be incredibly worthwhile. I’d love to start and/or continue that journey. Growth has no final destination, just the journey. It’s up to you what path you’d like to take.

Hello! I’m Chloe, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 5 years of experience supporting young adults and adults through life’s most challenging moments — both in Intensive Outpatient Programs and outpatient settings.
I graduated from SUNY Albany’s School of Social Welfare in 2019, but my path to social work began even earlier. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the international development sector and spent time in some of the world’s most under-resourced communities. That experience shaped my deep commitment to cultural humility and my belief that every person’s story deserves to be heard on its own terms. Originally from London, I moved to the US in 2017, and my own experience navigating life across cultures deepens my appreciation for how much context shapes who we are.
At the heart of my work is a person-centered, strengths-based approach - I see therapy as a collaboration where you’re the expert on your own life and my role is to walk alongside you. I take a trauma-informed approach, recognizing that trauma shows up in many forms and has a very real impact on everyday life. I am EMDR-trained and draw on CBT and DBT techniques to offer a well-rounded, evidence-based experience, while keeping the relational, human side of therapy at the core. I am also neurodiversity-affirming and committed to creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me outside - running (slowly), walking a nature trail, or catching up with a friend over an iced coffee.
If you’re navigating a difficult season or transition, I’d be honored to support you.

I bring over 23 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. My background includes 8 years in foster care and adoption, along with many years providing in-home support and therapy for children and families. For the past 13 years, I’ve worked extensively with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
I’ve supported mothers facing complex life stressors, and I’ve also led co-parenting groups and smoking cessation programs. My work is grounded in a straightforward, down-to-earth approach that focuses on real-life change, not just talking about problems.
People often tell me they appreciate my ability to be present, practical, and easy to talk to.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, being with my pets, and connecting with family and friends.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of North and South Carolina. I graduated from Liberty University in 2013. My approach to counseling is very eclectic and person-centered. I have experience in the utilization of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy (FT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and I also assist clients with implementing forms of meditation into their daily lifestyle. I aim to empower each person I am allowed to serve, and to assist them with understanding that each person can heal, cope, and/or adapt despite life's challenges. The power to create change is within each one of us, and my job is to assist you with that process.
