Hi! My name is Season Apple and I am a licensed professional counselor based in Pennsylvania. I have been in private practice since 2015 and have 15 years of experience in the counseling field. My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families lead healthier and more productive lives. Whether it is anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder or relationship issues within partners or family members. The focus is always on helping my clients gain coping skills, increase their satisfaction, and enhancing their relationships with others.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

For our initial session, a client should expect me to gain a brief history, discuss what initiated therapy, and what goals they would like to focus on. There is absolutely no pressure! Just getting to know eachother.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a really great listener and have a lot of compassion. I am down to earth and urge my clients to feel safe and comfortable sharing anything they want with me and know that they are secure.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is utilized through role playing different scenarios, journaling consistently, developing effective breathing techniques, and skills training.

Narrative

I use narrative therapy when working with a client on a specific problem. We name the problem, gain more history and insight of the problem, explore the effects of the problem, and then externalize instead of internalize our thoughts.

Positive Psychology

I use positive psychology to help my clients enhance their daily lives by becoming more grounded, making more meaningful connections, and experience more fulfilling lives overall.

Couples Counseling

Couple counseling can be highly challenging but also very effective. I work with the couple and develop more effective communication skills, intimacy, and the awareness of the need to be transparent with one another to establish/re-establish trust.
