I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress or coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, postpartum changes, school or work stress, legal issues, or major life transitions, I provide a supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is warm, direct, and solution-focused. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy coping skills, and build practical strategies that help you feel more confident in your daily life. I specialize in trauma-informed care and am certified in EMDR and TF-CBT. I have experience working with both complex mental health concerns and clients who are generally functioning well but want support processing difficult experiences and trauma, improving relationships, or managing stress more effectively. When clinically appropriate and based on medical necessity, I am able to complete FMLA and disability paperwork as part of treatment. My goal is to help you feel supported, develop effective coping tools, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you in and explore your current challenges and emotional experiences. We’ll discuss your history, what you’ve tried before, and what your goals are for therapy. I’ll create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported. You’ll leave the session with a better understanding of what’s going on emotionally and some initial strategies to start building emotional regulation. It’s okay if you don’t have all the words yet just showing up is enough to begin. I believe therapy works best when we work together as a team. My role is to help you better understand yourself, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are consistency, compassion, and clinical skill. I rarely cancel sessions and offer dependable support. I’m direct but empathetic, and I balance evidence-based methods with warmth and relatability. I balance compassion with honest feedback. I'll listen without judgment while also helping you identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and practice new ways of responding. I want you to leave sessions with greater insight and practical strategies you can use between appointments. Every person is different, so I tailor treatment to your goals, strengths, and unique experiences. With certifications in trauma-focused modalities like EMDR and TF-CBT and 15 years of experience in different modalities, CBT, DBT, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, ACT, exposure therapy, etc. I know how to help clients move through deeply painful experiences without feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I empower clients to build emotional strength, confidence, and stability one session at a time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support clients who feel overwhelmed by their inner world those who experience emotions intensely, carry unresolved trauma, or find themselves stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand but deeply want to change. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning on the outside yet internally struggling with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, self-doubt, or a persistent sense of “something isn’t right.” I work especially well with individuals navigating trauma (including childhood, attachment, or relational trauma), grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship challenges. This includes people who feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, emotional reactivity, people-pleasing, or difficulty trusting themselves or others. I also support clients who are trying to make sense of their past those who may say, “I know why I feel this way, but I can’t seem to change it.” My approach resonates with clients who are open to going deeper not just managing symptoms, but understanding the root of their experiences and creating lasting change. Whether someone is working through a breakup, healing from betrayal, struggling with identity, or trying to reconnect with a sense of self, I offer a space that is both grounded and compassionate. I bring a warm, nonjudgmental presence while also gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. I integrate evidence-based approaches like EMDR and nervous system-focused strategies, to help clients process what’s been stored beneath the surface not just talk about it.

Very calm and collected in her delivery. Really listens to your goals and repeats them back to you to confirm she understood them accurately. Lets you talk, does not overpower the conversation. Direct when giving information and describing her practice and methods. Looking forward to working with her more.
