One of the most important components of therapy is the relationship and connection between the client and therapist. As a therapist, I pride myself on providing a safe and open environment for clients. I show up authentically so that my clients can as well. As a member of the queer and neurodivergent community, I know the importance of having an open and affirming space. As a therapist my goal is to help people help themselves. You are the expert on you, and sometimes our own thoughts or experiences can get in the way of being the best version of ourselves. Everyone shows up in this world differently and for many of us the spaces we grew up in and live in can shape that. Therapy can be about understanding the past, as well as paving the way forward. Breaking generational trauma, understanding attachment, learning to cope, and building on resiliency to create the life you want.
My framework for therapy is person centered, solution focused, and trauma informed. Each client's goals are unique and therefore we will work together to create a plan for how to reach these goals.
I’m Brittany McBryde Williams, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Ocala, Fl and a doctoral candidate (3rd yr) in Counselor Education and Supervision PhD program at The Chicago School. My educational experience includes a Bachelors in Psychology from University of Central Florida, a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate certificate in Psychology with a specialization in Play Therapy both from Capella University, and over 225 hours of specialized Play Therapy instruction. I specialize in treating trauma using EMDR and in Adlerian Play Therapy. I hold active affiliate memberships to numerous professional associations which I maintain advocacy and leadership efforts to contribute to the progression of the field of counseling. I am passionate about supporting and empowering individuals, children, and their families to heal and live more fulfilling lives as they strive for a sense of belonging.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by life’s transitions or struggling to find your footing, I want you to know you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m Brandi McDonald, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults build the resilience they need for lasting change.
In our sessions, I combine evidence-based methods with a warm, flexible approach tailored to your unique story. Whether you are managing anxiety, navigating school stressors, or working through relationship challenges, we will create a respectful space where you feel truly seen and heard. Together, we’ll turn insight into action—building your confidence and clarity one step at a time.
Many of my clients are women and teen girls (12 and up) who are high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. You may be managing work, school, relationships, or caregiving while internally feeling overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or like you’re running on empty.
If you’re someone who’s tried to “figure it out” on your own or learned coping skills in therapy before but still find yourself falling into the same patterns, you’re not alone. Many of the women I work with come in feeling frustrated that insight hasn’t translated into real change.
In our work together, we focus on getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck in cycles like burnout, over-functioning, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Instead of just managing symptoms, we work to understand and shift what’s driving them so the change actually lasts.
A key part of this process involves working with your nervous system—not just your thoughts. You may already understand what’s going on logically, but still feel it in your body and day-to-day life. We focus on helping your system feel safer, more grounded, and less reactive so you can begin to break those automatic cycles and respond in new ways.
I integrate EMDR, somatic approaches, attachment-based therapy, TF-CBT, and experiential work to support both emotional processing and practical change. The goal is to help you move from insight into real, sustainable shifts in how you feel, relate, and show up in your life.
Sessions are collaborative and paced so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally steady, and connected to yourself and your relationships.
I also offer trauma intensives for self-pay clients who want deeper, focused work in a shorter period of time.

I'm Jennifer Roth, a licensed mental health counselor. As a Nationally Certified Counselor and certified yoga teacher, my diverse background enriches my practice. My professional journey involves extensive work in academic settings. Tailoring my approach to your unique needs and goals, I aim for a holistic approach. Passionate about guiding you through challenges, developing coping strategies, and fostering personal growth, I collaborate with clients on their journey to a more fulfilling life. My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from various evidence-based modalities with a focus on positive psychology, empowerment, active listening, mindfulness and equipping you with practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I believe in fostering a strengths-based perspective, where we focus not only on addressing difficulties but also on recognizing and building upon your inherent strengths and resilience.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by daily obligations? Do you find yourself having difficulty focusing? Maybe you find yourself thinking you’re not good enough or feel like an imposter. Feeling things are out of your control, the tension in your body, the feeling you can’t possibly get everything done without disappointing others and you want relief now. Anxiety can be debilitating. Those racing thoughts that feel uncontrollable do not have to be the main character in your life. I look forward to teaching you the strategies that will give you your life back.
We’ll start by untangling your thoughts and feelings so you can gain clarity. By practicing acceptance, you can focus on taking actionable steps that move you towards your goals that align with your values. You'll develop effective coping strategies and thus gain resilience so you are better able to manage your stress no matter what comes your way.
Life brings many challenges so your feelings are valid. I will actively listen to your needs and create a safe and supportive environment for you to freely share your concerns. I am here to provide guidance, support, and understanding. I hope to meet with you so we can work together placing you on the path towards mental well being.

We will work together as a team to build coping strategies and set treatment goals.
My education and training includes a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. I'm Juan Carlos Martell, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and the founder of Psych Life Incorporated. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation — not a clinical evaluation. When you sit with me, you're not a diagnosis or a case file. You're a person navigating something difficult, and you deserve to be met with warmth, honesty, and genuine understanding.
My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Existential Therapy to help you work through what's weighing you down while reconnecting with what actually matters to you. CBT gives you practical, evidence-based tools to shift the thought patterns keeping you stuck. Existential therapy invites us to go deeper, exploring questions about identity, purpose, and the kind of life you truly want to build. Together, they create change that's both practical and meaningful.
I work with adults and teens in navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-doubt, and the quiet question so many of us carry: "Is this really the life I want?" Sessions with me are warm, direct, and free of jargon. You'll leave with tools you can actually use — not just insight, but real strategies for your everyday life.
Outside the therapy room, I'm a published author of The Adventures of Kevin and Friends, a children's mental health book series designed to help families talk openly about emotions like anxiety, depression, and bullying. I'm also the creator of PsychLife on Instagram, where I've spent years making psychology accessible to people who never thought therapy was "for them," and the founder of MindfulPractice, an upcoming mental health app rooted in CBT, ACT, and mindfulness. Everything I do comes back to one mission: making mental health real, relatable, and within reach. You don't have to figure it out alone. Be the artist of your own life.
With over 10 years of experience, I help adults, young adults, and college students navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, overthinking, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients appear to have it all together on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break. Many of my clients are high-functioning but internally overwhelmed, overthinking and emotionally exhausted.
My approach is warm, supportive, and insight-driven, while also being direct and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based techniques to help clients build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work especially well with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.
I am licensed in Illinois, Nevada and Florida and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their growth and healing process.
Hi there and welcome! First and foremost, I'd like to say how proud I am of you for reaching out and seeking help in your personal journey of healing and growth. This first step in finding a Therapist takes courage! A little about myself: I have been practicing in the field of Mental Health for approximately 15 years. I graduated from the University of North Florida in 2007 with my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and in 2010 with my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling. I spent the first 7 years of my career working in in-patient psychiatric care hospitals where I would provide individual as well as group and family therapy services to patients dealing with issues included but not limited to Suicidal attempts, Bi-Polar Disorder with psychotic episodes, addiction issues and schizophrenia. I also began my clinical management experiences while working in-patient psychiatric care. The last 8 years, I have been working outpatient, non-for-profit practice as well as private practice with specialties in addressing Trauma, Anxiety, Addiction issues and Family/Relational issues, specifically related to Attachment Theories. I truly believe that anyone with the courage to reach out for help and the willingness to work, can achieve change and become the best version of themselves. I look forward to assisting you on your growth journey!
Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Florida. I received my Masters from Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Family Therapy. I have been practicing for 4 years and work with a wide range of individuals. I have worked in school settings, agency, community outreach, and marriage workshops.
Since becoming a counselor, I have worked in a variety of community counseling settings. I have worked with clients from ages 3 through 80 and with individuals, couples, and families. With that breadth of experience, very little shocks or surprises me and I have gotten a pretty good sense of where the types of counseling that play to my strengths as a counselor overlap with the types of counseling that are helpful for my clients. This sense (along with learning about lots and lots of research into what helps people find and maintain mental health) has led to the following guiding principles that shape all the counseling I do:
1) The client is always in charge. I know a lot of things but you will always be the one who decides what you want to get out of counseling, how we work towards that goal, whether or not what we’re doing seems to be working, and when we’re done.
2) Change and health happen through relationships. No matter what you come in for, there are always relational implications of change and relational factors that contribute to whatever it is that you came to counseling to change.
3) Counseling should be efficient. Counseling has significant costs in time and money. I think the benefits far outweigh the costs but if I can give you the benefits while helping you save on the costs then I want to do that.

I approach mental wellness as a spectrum of being that will regularly ebb and flow for all people. We all have "good" days and "not so good" days; we all need someone to talk to and to listen to us when days are harder, and we all need a compassionate voice to tell us that we can work through this. Menatl health work is manageable when it is education and information based, which helps us to make our problems seem more manageable. I like to help my clients feel comfortable about talking through their thoughts and obstacles, and finding real, simple solutions to problems. I have worked with people of all ages; my youngest client was 3 years old, and my oldest client was 84; I am proud to say that I can adjust to meet clients' needs. This is due to my ability to listen and to collaborate actively with clients to help them have a say in their care and healing.

With over 25 years of experience in the social work field, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings a depth of knowledge, compassion, and practical expertise to every therapeutic relationship. My diverse background spans school social work, special education support (including 504 Plans and IEPs), vocational services for adults with disabilities, and extensive experience in foster care and adoption. I have been married for 25 years and have 4 teen/young adult children.
I specialize in supporting individuals, parents, and families navigating complex life challenges, including parenting and raising children with disabilities/behavioral challenges. My strengths as a counselor also include helping adolescents and adults struggling with symptoms associated with depression and anxiety. My approach is both empathetic and results-driven; helping people build resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop effective coping strategies. I use evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solutions-Focused Therapy and tailor treatment to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. I am committed to empowering people to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I have a warm, collaborative style and plenty of real-world insight. I provide a supportive space where people feel heard, understood, and equipped to move forward with confidence.
