My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I incorporate CBT into my practice by helping clients understand the connection between thoughts-feelings-behavior and how to work on changing your inner core beliefs to facilitate changes in feelings and behaviors. I have been utilizing CBT for over 30 years and view this modality as the most effective to enact positive and long-lasting changes. This method helps with reoccurring thoughts and managing anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We then utilize that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

In conjunction with CBT this method works well with trauma and involves similar techniques to enable the client to view, think and feel differently about their experiences.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilize this type of therapy with most clients as mindfulness and grounding techniques are useful for almost mental health issues.

I’m very happy with her. No need to put my issues in here but, I like her. She’s helping me. She is all of the above and choosing just one is not possible for me.
