New to Grow
Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who helps children, teens, and adults manage anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and life transitions with compassion and practical support. In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and creating lasting change so you can feel more grounded and fulfilled.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space to share what’s been on your mind and what led you to seek therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of our work together. I’ll also explain my approach and answer any questions you might have, so you leave with a clear sense of what therapy will look like and how we can move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
I combine evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT with a warm, conversational style that helps clients feel seen, supported, and understood. My sessions are collaborative and goal-focused, empowering clients to not only gain insight but also build real-life skills that create lasting emotional growth and meaningful change.
I’m best positioned to help children, teens, and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves and others. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or major life transitions and are ready to better understand their emotions and build healthier coping tools. I especially enjoy working with people who are motivated to grow, open to self-reflection, and looking to create more balance, confidence, and fulfillment in their lives.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage strong emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthier ways. I often incorporate DBT skills like mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance into sessions, tailoring them to each client’s unique needs. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can find balance between accepting themselves and making meaningful change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. Together, we build practical tools to manage stress, improve mood, and make positive changes in daily life. I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach focusing on insight, growth, and lasting results.
I use grief therapy to help clients process loss at their own pace and find meaning as they move forward. My approach provides space for both the pain of grief and the possibility of healing. Together, we explore emotions, memories, and coping strategies to support resilience and connection after loss.
I use Positive Psychology to help clients build on their strengths, increase resilience, and cultivate a greater sense of fulfillment. Together, we focus on what’s going well, practice gratitude, and develop habits that promote optimism and well-being. This approach encourages growth and helps clients create more meaning and joy in their everyday lives.
