Additionally, I have worked in private practice and community mental health. I have training as a Parenting Coordinator in high-conflict divorce and have also become a Certified Mediator in the State of Florida. I also have specialized Grief-Informed Training from Children's Bereavement Center, and I have attended several trainings on adolescents, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and depression. My goal is to provide a safe, warm, and welcoming space for teens and adults to express their feelings. I think of myself as a girl-next-door therapist. New clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to. I like to use humor whenever possible. My approach is gentle and humble. I'll never go beyond your comfort level of discussion. My office is where you can spew your thoughts, cry, talk about yourself and even the thoughts you have that would be offensive to others. I became a master's level social worker at 32, and my life experience prior to that enabled my ability to understand different types of people and what motivates them.
