New to Grow
First and foremost, I am a wife and mother. I have real life experiences that can relate to people. I have been treating clients for 25 years. I use real life, practical coping skills to help clients in real life situations. I have worked in community based centers, schools and therapeutic individuatal settings. These experiences allow me to have a clear, rounded understanding of people and their life situations.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Clients can expect a real person on the other end of the computer screen. I have therapy experience to back my credentials, but often people just want to be heard. Hopefully, after the first session, you will feel that I am able to hear you.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have a Christian background. I can approach therapy along those lines, but I am open to many other modalities. If looking for a Biblical basis, I can help in that way, but also can clinically assist you.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My main goal is to help clients that want to feel better about themselves and their situations. I love it when clients are able to shift their mindset to a more productive and positive outlook.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to foster practical, sustainable change by empowering clients with tools and insights they can carry forward in their daily lives
Couples Counseling
I help partners better understand and shift the thought and behavior patterns that negatively impact their relationship.
