New to Grow
I am a national board-certified counselor and Licensed mental health counselor, practicing for 25+ years. Additionally, I am a provider for the Crisis Care Network, on-site crisis intervention for workplace violence and mass casualty. Despite misconceptions, my job is not to solve your problems; instead, I assist you to focus on what you can and can’t change. I work with a holistic, evidence-based, trauma informed approach, taking great care to create a space of safety, trust and respect. I will listen carefully, challenge and support you throughout your journey.
The first session “initial assessment” involves asking questions and gathering information, you will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We will work together to figure this out! I will create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling safe. This process is about your mental health and personal growth; ask questions; I want you to leave the session feeling that you are moving in a positive direction.
