I am a board-certified Music Therapist and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14 years of experience, serving clients across California and Colorado. My own journey informs my work: I grew up in California and built a successful business before transitioning my life to Colorado. I then spent two years as a digital nomad—traveling by car across the US and living abroad for 1.5 years—all while managing and growing my business. I understand how to maintain excellence while in motion, and I use an IFS-informed somatic and creative approach to help you find that same internal groundedness and freedom.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado, I strive to create a therapeutic space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted as your authentic self. My approach is grounded in honesty, compassion, authenticity, and humor, because I believe meaningful growth can happen when we feel comfortable enough to show up as we are—including the messy, complicated, and imperfect parts of being human. I take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that honors your resilience, recognizes your existing strengths, and respects your unique experiences. I also recognize that our lives are shaped not only by personal experiences but by the systems, social structures, and sociopolitical factors around us. I aim to understand the whole picture rather than view challenges in isolation. Above all, I believe you are the expert in your own experience. My role is not to tell you who to be or what your journey should look like, but to walk alongside you as we explore what matters most to you, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to meet you with curiosity, respect, and a healthy dose of humor along the way.

There is often a story behind the person who walks through the door of therapy. For first responders, that story can include experiences that are difficult to put into words—moments of intense responsibility, loss, fear, or trauma that stay with you long after the shift ends. When you spend your career being the person others rely on, there may not always be much room to process what you have experienced yourself. Over time, that can show up as stress, frustration, emotional disconnection, difficulty being present with the people you love, or simply feeling unlike yourself. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am passionate about working with first responders who are ready to understand what they have been carrying and begin creating meaningful change. I believe that what happened to you is part of your story, but it does not have to define the rest of it. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping you move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you. I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients process difficult experiences, recognize the strengths they already possess, and develop practical tools for navigating what comes next. Therapy is not about erasing your experiences or pretending they did not happen. It is about creating space to work through what has been holding you back, reconnect with what matters most, and make room for the life you want to live. You have spent a lot of time showing up for others. Therapy can be a place where you get to show up for yourself.

Hello and welcome to a positive journey for a successful therapeutic experience! I am a licensed MFT in California, Colorado, and Oregon. I have thoroughly enjoyed working in healthcare since 1985, and I love my career with passion. I hold a BS in Psychology and an MS in Counseling, Marriage, Child, and Family Therapy. I have been practicing as a therapist for over 10 years. I am a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapist and have had the privilege of facilitating over 1000 hours of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Journeys and Integrations. I am a Certified Clinical/Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-1&2), which includes working extensively with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. Along with working with individuals who have experienced traumatic stress, I am honored and privileged to provide care for clients experiencing treatment resistant-depression, anxiety and PTSD. I provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy in Colorado. My emphasis includes working with adolescents and adults, as well as the LGBTQIA2S+ population. You can understand exactly why you keep doing something and still feel completely stuck in it. With 20 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults who are tired of repeating patterns that no longer work for them. My style is active, relational, practical, and conversational. We look beyond what happened to what keeps happening—what activates the pattern, what keeps it going, and where we can actually interrupt it. I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, serious illness, major life transitions, and burnout from carrying too much for too long. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming of diverse identities, sexualities, and non-traditional relationship structures. I’m genuinely open-minded about how people build relationships and live their lives. You’re unlikely to shock me, and vanilla is certainly not a requirement for admission. You don’t have to clean yourself up for therapy. Bring the contradictions, questionable decisions, weird relationship dynamics, dark humor, 47 tabs of self-help information, and the thing you’re pretty sure will make me judge you. I probably won’t. My approach is integrative, drawing from CBT, motivational interviewing, attachment-based work, somatic and nervous-system awareness, mindfulness, behavioral strategies, and psychoeducation. I’m endlessly curious about what makes people tick, and I translate therapy concepts into normal language. I’m warm and supportive, but I’m not a therapist who just nods and agrees with everything you say. I’ll believe you about your experience while sometimes lovingly questioning the story your brain has built around it. I’ll notice patterns, contradictions, play devil’s advocate, and help turn insight into something useful outside the therapy room. We’ll probably laugh in therapy, sometimes about things that objectively aren’t funny. Humans are weird. Therapeutic fit matters enormously to me, and I have no ego about being the right therapist for everyone.

I was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and immigrated to the United States at twelve with my family as Jewish refugees escaping antisemitism. This experience shaped my understanding of safety, identity, and belonging. It taught me that love and connection are things we create intentionally, through effort and care – not things we can take for granted. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and my Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University, where I trained in Ego Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. During my school years, I came out as gay, which shaped my understanding of vulnerability, acceptance, and love. Later in my life, through continued internal work and community connection, I came out again – this time as nonbinary. These experiences inform my work with couples: love deepens when we are allowed to be fully seen. For over 15 years, I have worked within one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States, supporting individuals and couples across diverse identities and lived experiences, including many within the LGBTQIA+ community. That work reinforced what I know to be true about love: it requires communication, boundaries, repair, and the willingness to try again. I completed a 6-month didactic rotation at the largest health care system in the country and UCSF in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, a research-supported approach focused on strengthening bonds and restoring emotional security. I have also earned a certification in Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based method that helps couples grow friendship, manage conflict, and build lasting connection. In therapy, I help couples slow down, observe what is happening between them in the present moment, and make different choices.

I specialize in two things most therapists don't: sleep and health. Specifically, I help individuals who can't sleep, who are managing a chronic illness or medical diagnosis, or who've been trying to make lasting health behavior changes and keep hitting a wall. I hold dual board certifications in Clinical Health Psychology (ABPP) and Behavioral Sleep Medicine (DBSM), the latter being one of the most specialized credentials a psychologist can earn, and one that very few providers in Colorado have. Before going into private practice, I spent over a decade as an active duty psychologist in the U.S. Air Force, working with service members, veterans, and their families through some genuinely hard things. That experience shaped how I approach care: I believe in being collaborative, practical, and honest about what the research actually supports, and I don't believe in wasting your time. My availability is usually limited to Mondays, as I also work full-time as a professor training future psychologists and conducting clinical research.

Welcome! There is no beauty in "settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." It is time to be courageous and see what might be causing you to settle. In the midst, I will use cognitive behavioral because I know it therapy works in actual clinical practice. While it may require hope, perseverance, and patience, you'll be glad you did! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois, Colorado, and Florida. I received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University (NU). I am trained with a systemic view of change, using empirically-based information that the profession and I know works. Additionally, I have a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling, focusing on Marriage and Family from Liberty University, obtaining clinical training in faith-based solutions. The convergence of ideologies from these two schools helps my aspirational core values of acceptance, appreciation, diversity and inclusion.

Hi, I'm Haley. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of holding everything together, therapy can be a space to slow down, understand your experiences, and reconnect with yourself. I work with adults and teens who are navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, stress, and relationship concerns. You may be processing difficult experiences, feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, or struggling to feel connected to yourself and the people you love. I’m passionate about mental health research and committed to continually learning so that I can offer care that is both thoughtful and informed by the latest evidence. My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities that support the mind, body, and emotions. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic interventions, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so my approach is collaborative, strengths-focused, and tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experiences. And most importantly, I want therapy to move at a pace that feels right for you. If you resonate with this at all, I would be honored to connect with you.

Hi, I’m Jenna! I am a licensed Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist in Colorado, Florida, and California. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people as they work through stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, low motivation, self-esteem and confidence struggles, and depression. I believe in meeting every person with respect, compassion, and genuine care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can explore what you’re going through and tailor the process to your unique needs. One of my specialty approaches is Clinical Hypnotherapy (Aka: Hypnosis). The progress that clients can make with this sort of therapy never ceases to amaze me. Reaching out for help takes courage, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. I’m also happy to provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Hi, I’m Josh Burke, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy across, Colorado, New York and Vermont. I’ve spent over 12 years working with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and major life transitions. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. Because of that, I place a strong emphasis on building a genuine, trusting relationship from the start—one where you feel supported, understood, and able to be honest about what you’re going through. My approach is both relational and goal-oriented. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which means we won’t just talk about what’s wrong—we’ll also focus on what matters to you and how to move toward it in practical, meaningful ways. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating a significant transition, our work will center on helping you better understand your experience, develop new ways of responding to stress, and take steps toward the life you want to live. I tailor therapy to each person, recognizing that no two paths forward look the same. I believe change is possible—even when things feel difficult—and I aim to walk alongside you in a way that feels collaborative, grounded, and forward-moving.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addictions Counselor in the state of Colorado. I received my Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2017. After completing my Master’s Degree, I spent almost six years working with criminal justice involved clients - from substance abuse to domestic violence offenders. While I learned a lot doing that work, and it was extremely fulfilling to service victims and offenders, I decided to pursue working for myself within the private practice setting. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral techniques in my sessions, as well as being trained in Brainspotting for trauma specific treatment. I strongly believe in the connection between physical health and mental health, and do my best to focus on both aspects with the clients I see. I feel fortunate to be able to hear and share in other's stories and be a part of their journey to wellness.

I'm fascinated by human existence. What you say, what you mean, what you've been through, how you've survived it, and how you're still standing. I pay attention to the details, the patterns, the stories you tell yourself, and the things you wish other people understood about you. I know what it feels like to feel unseen, overlooked, stuck, anxious, hopeless. I don't have life figured out, but I’ve spent years learning to sit with uncertainty, have hard conversations, and navigate the messy realities of being human. I won’t promise to heal you or have all the answers, but I will promise that I'm committed to helping you better understand yourself. I'm an out-of-the-box therapist. I bring passion, humor, authenticity, and insight.

Hello, dear one, and welcome. I'm so glad you're here. Through my private practice Roots to Rise, I work with those who feel everything: the ones who need more recovery time than everyone around them, who've been called "too sensitive" or "too much." You're not too much. Your nervous system is doing what it was built to do. Many people come to me with anxiety that won't quiet down, depression that's settled in like fog, trauma that keeps showing up in the body, exhaustion that doesn't lift no matter how much they rest, or the kind of burnout that happens when they've been rewarded for ignoring their own needs for too long. For some, it's meant holding everything together: the high achiever, the one everyone calls for advice, the one who looks fine while running on empty. For others, it's meant leaving a faith that no longer fits, questioning who taught them to distrust their body and intuition, or untangling the belief that they must earn their rest, prove their worth, or make themselves small to keep others comfortable. My approach moves through grounding, witnessing, processing, reclaiming, and integrating, drawing on narrative and somatic work, IFS, ACT, DBT/CBT, and mindfulness. Rather than following one fixed protocol, we let your history, relationships, pace, and goals shape the mix. We work with more than your thoughts. Your body remembers what your mind has tried to outrun, so we pay attention to both. When I'm not in session, you'll usually find me outside. I'm a Colorado native who feels most like myself in the mountains, with my hands in the garden, or out wildcrafting. On quieter days, I'm inside crafting, or curled up with a book I can't put down. That same groundedness is what I bring into the room with you.

Hi there, I'm Alicia. Are you feeling lost or stuck in some aspect of your life and finding it hard to move forward? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? With your permission, I help to hold the container for deeper exploration and healing. I am a trauma-focused therapist, certified in EMDR and trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I’m originally from Southern California, the traditional homelands of the Tongva (Gabrielino) and Chumash peoples, and I’m now based in Colorado, on the ancestral lands of the Arapaho, Ute, and Cheyenne peoples. I offer virtual individual therapy to clients in both states. I believe that each of us possesses an internal source of wisdom that can be cultivated through psychotherapy, psychedelic medicines, meditation practices, yoga and other connecting practices that link the brain, body and spirit. My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness, compassion, curiosity, and respect. I often draw from concepts rooted in Buddhist psychology and contemplative traditions. I frequently incorporate EMDR as an evidence-based method for working with both acute and developmental trauma, along with parts work (IFS). I am attentive to the impact of a person’s social, physical, and cultural environment, as well as systems of oppression. Clients describe my approach as warm, relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I cannot do the work for you, but I can help you along the way, and it is truly an honor and a joy for me.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down by life’s challenges? Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, relationship issues, or the stress of everyday life, you do not have to go through it alone. My name is Michael, and I am a licensed therapist with over a decade of experience helping people from all walks of life find clarity, healing, and growth. I have worked extensively with individuals facing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance use and recovery, childhood and relational trauma, men’s issues, self worth, identity struggles, and relationship difficulties. My approach is compassionate, practical, and supportive. I focus on meeting you where you are and working together to untangle what feels overwhelming, while giving you tools that create real change. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes but about building a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and authentic. I also understand the importance of creativity and personal expression. My background in the arts has shown me how vital it is to have outlets for what we carry inside. Many of my clients are artists, performers, and writers, but creativity is not required. What matters is that you are a human being with a story, and I am here to help you move forward with strength and clarity. When we work together you will find a therapist who listens without judgment, asks thoughtful questions, and collaborates with you to find solutions that fit your life. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward the life you want to create. I work with individual adults in Colorado and Hawaii who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship changes, infertility, career decisions, stress, or simply feeling stuck. Sometimes clients come to therapy because of a specific event, while others have a general sense that something isn't working anymore. Wherever you're starting, we'll work together to identify your strengths, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for lasting change. My approach combines evidence-based psychotherapy with a whole-person perspective. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered counseling while tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals. I believe emotional wellness is influenced by every part of our lives, and therapy should honor the unique experiences, values, and strengths that each person brings into the room. Whether you're looking for support through a difficult season or seeking greater purpose, balance, and fulfillment, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I believe meaningful growth happens through relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of our work together. My goal is to create a safe, steady, and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, understand your patterns, and build greater trust in yourself. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and strength-based. I integrate talk therapy, art therapy, and creative expression to support emotional awareness, healing, and personal growth. Together, we may explore attachment patterns, relationship dynamics, boundaries, self-esteem, identity, family relationships, and the experiences that have shaped who you are today.

I am a therapist that enjoys using client centered strategies to help clients better understand themselves and how they exist in the world around them. When I look at my journey through life, I have found that some of the greatest changes I have made were through conversations with others who helped me to see the world from a lens of choice. I have learned over the years that choice relates to actions, that in turn influence dynamics of empowerment and advocacy. Empowerment, advocacy, and perseverance are terms easy to grasp by definition, but much more difficult to follow through with in our day to day experiences. I believe that healing and growth really begin to set in when decisions are made to accept the current reality of ones life and then further commit to strategically apply necessary changes. Over time, I have noticed that therapy often can help people (myself included) gain a greater sense of self efficacy and self confidence, especially when we learn how powerful our thoughts and actions can be! In other words, it is ok if there are things happening in our day that we would rather not go through, however we also have a choice in how we respond in that day. I value the importance of a healthy and healing therapeutic relationship! I also value the process of exploring how trust and hope participate towards how we experience the world.

My counseling style is empathic and conversational, grounded in respect, sensitivity, and compassion. We'll incorporate your experiences, feelings, and values into a meaningful life story. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, narrative, and evidence-based strategies while allowing space for rediscovery, growth, and repair. I specialize in depression, self-esteem, substance use and misuse, men's mental health, and relationship issues. Relationships are often the most important things in our lives, and all treatment holds this at its core. When we pursue change, we strengthen our relationships and become better partners, parents and friends. I strive to meet the client where they're at and tailor the approach based on their needs. My style is empathic and supportive. We will figure out where and how you'd like to make changes, uncover the patterns that have kept you stuck, and do the rewarding work of letting go of the things that aren't working for you anymore.

I’m a warm, engaged therapist who genuinely enjoys working with the complicated stuff—the patterns that don’t make sense, the coping strategies that worked until they didn’t, and the parts of yourself you might not quite know what to do with. My approach is curious, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I’m an active participant in therapy: I’ll ask questions, help you make connections, offer another perspective when it might be useful, and gently challenge you when we’ve built the trust to do that. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you walk in, and there will probably be some dry humor along the way.

You are the expert of your own life—your experiences, feelings, and thoughts are invaluable guides to your mental well-being. In my practice, I take a Whole Health approach to counseling, supporting you in a way that honors your unique needs. I believe that true change comes from nurturing every aspect of your life, including diet, exercise, sleep, and more. My goal is to help you unlock your potential and cultivate lasting growth, using your insights as the foundation. If you’re ready to invest in your mental wealth, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My path to becoming a mental health provider began with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine desire to help others find meaning and healing in their lives. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how life’s challenges can impact our well-being, and I saw the profound difference that compassionate support can make. These early experiences inspired me to learn more about how we cope, grow, and ultimately thrive, even in the face of adversity. As I continued my education and personal growth, I became increasingly drawn to the field of mental health. I was captivated by the resilience and wisdom people bring to their healing journeys. I realized that being a provider would allow me to walk alongside others as they navigate their unique paths, offering guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based tools to support their goals. What truly motivates me is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and transformation. I am honored to help create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes. My journey as a provider is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to whole-person care, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to support others.

I’m a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Professional Counselor who helps people understand themselves in a way that actually creates change. Many of my clients come in feeling stuck, frustrated, or hard on themselves—especially around perfectionism, body image, self-worth, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences. What sets my work apart is my ability to quickly identify patterns and connect the dots between your past, your internal world, and how you relate to yourself now. I take a direct, compassionate, and insight-driven approach. I will challenge you, reflect what you may not yet see, and help you make sense of thoughts and behaviors that feel confusing or out of your control—without reducing you to those patterns. I also work from a systems perspective, meaning I look at both your personal experiences and the larger influences that shape them—family dynamics, cultural messaging, and societal pressures. This is especially important in my work around body image, relationship with food, and self-worth, where neutrality and sustainability matter more than quick fixes. My goal is not just to help you feel better—it’s to help you understand yourself well enough that real, lasting change becomes possible.

As a therapist, I am someone who genuinely cares about the mental health and well-being of my clients. I care about the whole person—their thoughts, emotions, experiences, relationships, identity, and the holistic expression of who they are. I believe therapy is not simply about treating a problem; it is about developing insight, building skills, understanding patterns, and creating the capacity to become a healthier and more authentic version of oneself. I love witnessing the growth process. There is something powerful about watching a person begin to understand themselves differently, recognize their own strength, and realize that they have choices they may not have seen before.

Do you often see patterns in your life that you would like to change ,yet still repeat them? Counseling sessions will provide the support and guidance to understand and release emotions that keep you stuck. Relationships are key, whether it be your relationship with yourself, your partner, family member or friends, you will be able to develop self awareness and understanding of the influence of family culture and dynamics. Over 30 years as a therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings , with a wide spectrum of ages and cultures . This experience has deepened my respect for each individual's journey and the influence of their family beliefs. I help clients to acknowledge these beliefs and gradually transform and expand them to enhance rather than limit their lives. I have enjoyed working with children and adolescents and bring this experience with me , yet I am currently working primarily with adults which includes a special enjoyment to help couples to successfully transform limiting patterns and develop clear communication and listening skills. I have learned so much about life transitions through my work with trauma, hospice, death and dying, treatment foster care, eating disorders and liaison work with educational and community. These experience have strengthen my belief in human resiliency. All of the sessions are remote and I provide a phone call prior to beginning sessions where you will be able to ask questions to see if we are a good "fit" to work together.
