Hi, I’m someone who genuinely loves helping people bring their ideas to life. I believe great work starts with listening, understanding your goals, and building a partnership rooted in trust and clear communication. My approach is thoughtful, reliable, and detail-oriented — but always human first. I’m here to make the process feel easy, collaborative, and maybe even a little fun, while delivering results you can feel proud of.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is really about getting to know you — not diving straight into “fixing” anything. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, what’s feeling most present or urgent right now, and what you’re hoping might change. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable; there’s no pressure to tell your whole life story in one sitting. I’ll likely ask some questions to understand your history, patterns, supports, and goals, but the pace is always guided by you. We’ll also talk about how I work, what therapy with me tends to look like, and answer any questions you have so you can get a sense of whether this feels like a good fit. Most importantly, you can expect a space that is warm, respectful, and non-judgmental — a place where you don’t have to filter yourself. By the end of our first session, we’ll have a clearer picture of what you want to work on and how we might move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance between depth and practicality. I’m not just here to listen — I’m here to help you understand patterns, make meaningful shifts, and build tools you can actually use in your daily life. Our work will explore the “why” behind your experiences, but it will also focus on the “how” of creating change. I tend to integrate insight-oriented work with evidence-based strategies, tailoring therapy to your unique personality, culture, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I value collaboration deeply; you’re the expert on your life, and I bring clinical training, structure, and perspective to support you. Clients often share that they feel both deeply understood and gently challenged in our sessions. My aim is for you to leave therapy not only with greater clarity and self-compassion, but with tangible growth — stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, improved emotional regulation, and a more grounded sense of self.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to work with clients who are thoughtful, self-aware (or wanting to become more so), and ready to engage in meaningful inner work. Many of the people I support feel overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, navigating anxiety or life transitions, or carrying emotional weight they’re tired of holding alone. My ideal clients are curious about themselves and open to exploring both the practical and deeper layers of their experiences. They may not have everything figured out — but they have a desire to grow, heal, and build a more grounded, authentic life. If you’re looking for a space that feels safe, collaborative, and gently challenging when needed, we’ll likely be a great fit.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

I take an eclectic approach, which means I draw from multiple therapy methods to tailor treatment specifically to your needs. Instead of using a single modality for everyone, I combine strategies from evidence-based practices (like cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, person-centered, and trauma-focused approaches) depending on what fits you, your goals, and your personality. This allows therapy to be flexible, practical, and personalized. You can expect sessions that address both immediate challenges and deeper patterns, giving you tools to cope, grow, and create meaningful change in your life.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-Informed Care focuses on creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where your experiences are understood and respected. Part of this approach can include TIR (Traumatic Incident Reduction), a structured method that helps you process and reduce the emotional impact of specific traumatic events. TIR allows you to explore difficult memories in a controlled, empowering way, helping you gain clarity, relief, and a greater sense of control over your responses.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy is a supportive and collaborative approach where you are the expert on your own experiences. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space and focus on understanding your perspective, helping you explore your feelings, values, and goals. This approach encourages self-discovery, personal growth, and building the confidence to make meaningful changes in your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a structured, goal-focused approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. In therapy, we work together to identify unhelpful patterns, challenge negative thinking, and develop practical strategies to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, or other challenges. CBT is action-oriented, giving you tools you can use in your daily life to create meaningful change.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is an important part of therapy where I provide information and guidance about mental health, emotions, and coping strategies. The goal is to help you understand what’s happening in your mind and body, recognize patterns, and learn practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, or other challenges. By understanding the “why” behind your experiences, you can make informed choices and feel more empowered in your growth.
