I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in TX, CO, and ID, passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves in meaningful and lasting ways. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in authenticity. I believe healing happens when people feel emotionally safe, genuinely seen, and supported without judgment. I specialize in navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, identity struggles, intimacy concerns, trauma, perfectionism, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting couples, children, adults, LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, BIPOC communities, and Spanish-speaking clients through culturally sensitive and affirming care. My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, somatic techniques, play therapy interventions, and sex therapy-informed work. I strive to create therapy experiences that are both practical and deeply compassionate, helping clients better understand themselves while building the tools needed for emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and long-term healing. As a bilingual Latina therapist, I value creating spaces where clients can show up fully as themselves. I understand how culture, family dynamics, identity, and lived experiences can shape emotional wellbeing, and I aim to honor each client’s unique story throughout the therapeutic process. In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about holistic healing, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and personal growth. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival mode and toward lives that feel more connected, balanced, authentic, and emotionally sustainable. I view therapy as a collaborative journey where healing is not about perfection, but about creating greater self-awareness, resilience, and compassion for yourself along the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Beginning therapy can feel both exciting and vulnerable, and my goal during our first session is to help you feel as comfortable, supported, and understood as possible. I view the first session as the beginning of a collaborative relationship where we work together to better understand your experiences, challenges, goals, and strengths. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. There is no “right” way to begin, and you are welcome to show up exactly as you are. During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. Some clients come in with a very clear understanding of what they want to work on, while others may simply know that they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted. Both are completely okay. I will guide the conversation in a gentle and supportive way while giving you space to share what feels important to you. We may talk about your current concerns, emotional experiences, relationships, stressors, symptoms, personal history, and any goals you hope to achieve in therapy. Depending on your needs, we may also explore areas such as anxiety, OCD symptoms, trauma history, identity struggles, perfectionism, intimacy concerns, life transitions, emotional regulation, or relationship patterns. My goal is not to rush into “fixing” things immediately, but rather to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences so we can create a treatment approach that feels supportive, personalized, and effective. I understand that sharing personal experiences with someone new can feel intimidating. You are never required to disclose more than you feel ready to share. Therapy is a process, and trust takes time to build. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and emotionally safe environment where you can feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. In our first session, I will also explain more about my therapeutic approach and answer any questions you may have about therapy, confidentiality, scheduling, or treatment methods. My work is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, somatic techniques, play therapy interventions, and sex therapy-informed approaches. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely safe, seen, and understood. I believe healing happens most effectively when people feel accepted without judgment and supported as whole human beings rather than viewed simply through symptoms or diagnoses. Many of my clients share that they quickly feel comfortable opening up with me because of my warm, grounded, and collaborative approach. I strive to balance professionalism with authenticity so therapy feels both emotionally safe and deeply human. I am especially skilled at helping clients navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, relationship challenges, identity struggles, and intimacy concerns. I work well with individuals who may appear high-functioning on the outside while internally feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in painful emotional patterns. My approach helps clients better understand the underlying causes of their struggles while building practical tools for long-term healing and emotional regulation. Another strength of my therapeutic approach is that it is highly integrative and personalized. I understand that no two people heal in exactly the same way, which is why I tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs, goals, personality, and life experiences. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, somatic techniques, play therapy interventions, and sex therapy-informed work. This allows me to support clients in a way that is both clinically grounded and adaptable to their unique circumstances. For clients struggling with OCD and anxiety, I provide structured and compassionate support through ERP and anxiety-focused interventions. I help clients gradually face fears, tolerate uncertainty, and reduce compulsive behaviors while developing healthier relationships with their thoughts and emotions. My approach emphasizes both accountability and emotional safety, helping clients challenge patterns without feeling shamed or overwhelmed. For trauma survivors, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to move at a pace that feels emotionally safe and sustainable. I recognize that many individuals have spent years feeling misunderstood, emotionally invalidated, or disconnected from their own bodies and emotions. I prioritize helping clients build trust, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and nervou

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I best serve adults who are seeking deeper healing, emotional clarity, and meaningful change. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, OCD, trauma, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, intimacy concerns, identity struggles, or major life transitions. They are often thoughtful, self-aware individuals who may appear high-functioning on the outside while internally feeling disconnected, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or overwhelmed by patterns they no longer want to carry. I work especially well with clients who are ready to move beyond simply “getting through the day” and are seeking a more grounded, authentic, and emotionally fulfilling life. My clients often want to better understand themselves, improve relationships, regulate emotions, strengthen self-worth, and reconnect with a sense of safety within their minds and bodies. I also enjoy supporting individuals exploring sexuality, intimacy, attachment patterns, spirituality, and personal growth in a compassionate and nonjudgmental space. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and integrative. I combine evidence-based therapies such as ERP, DBT, mindfulness, play therapy techniques, and somatic approaches to support healing in a way that feels personalized and sustainable. I value creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and safe enough to explore difficult emotions and experiences. I am passionate about serving diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ clients, neurodivergent individuals, BIPOC communities, Spanish-speaking clients, and those seeking culturally sensitive care. My ideal clients are open to reflection, growth, and healing work that goes beyond surface-level coping skills. They are seeking therapy not only to reduce symptoms, but to create a more connected, balanced, and meaningful life.
