I’m a licensed mental health therapist with 5 years of experience specializing in trauma, self-care, and healthy boundaries. Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse settings: including jails, methadone clinics, and mental health agencies, giving me a broad understanding of different populations and their unique challenges. Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading, playing my Nintendo Switch, and binge-watching Netflix documentaries. I’m also a proud dog mom to Lucky, my 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier who brings so much joy to my life.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm and collaborative environment where we begin by getting to know each other. Here's what typically happens: I'll ask about your personal history to understand the context of your life, including any relevant past experiences, relationships, or challenges that may be impacting you. This helps me gain insight into the bigger picture, including any mental health history, family dynamics, work-life stressors, and other factors that could be shaping your current situation. We will also explore the reasons you're seeking therapy and what you hope to achieve. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or something else, I'll work with you to identify the primary concerns and clarify your goals. This will help us create a roadmap for the work we'll do together.
As a mental health counselor, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my ability to listen deeply, create a safe and non-judgmental space, and collaborate with clients to help them discover their own insights and solutions. Here are a few key strengths I focus on: I have a strong ability to listen without judgment, allowing clients to feel truly heard and understood. This creates a space where they can feel safe to explore difficult emotions or experiences, knowing they won’t be met with criticism. My goal is to connect with each individual at a human level, which often helps clients feel validated and less alone in their struggles. Lastly, While I’m deeply attuned to the emotional and relational aspects of therapy, I also place a strong emphasis on helping clients develop practical skills and strategies to manage their challenges. Whether it’s coping skills for anxiety, communication tools for relationships, or mindfulness practices, I work with clients to build their own “toolkit” for emotional and psychological well-being.
I provide a safe, comfortable space where sharing feels natural. I specialize in helping professional women who are feeling burned out, overwhelmed, and disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients struggle with balancing busy lives while trying to maintain an image that pleases everyone else—often at their own expense. Over time, this pattern can lead to fatigue in relationships and a loss of authenticity. My clients come to me ready for change: they want to feel confident, in control, and connected to who they truly are. With a down-to-earth, approachable style and a no-nonsense approach, I create an empowering space for growth and self-discovery.
I will help you recognize unhealthy belief systems you have subconsciously been carrying in your life. I provide a warm direct approach in helping clients be your authentic self. I have a down-to-earth vibe, easy to talk to nature, and a no nonsense style of therapy that opens the mind of others.
I help you learn how your thoughts and belief systems are affecting your mood and life decisions.
