I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine partnership. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you feel supported while also challenging you to grow.
Integrative psychotherapy supporting healing, connection, and meaningful change through the mind-body connection.
I integrate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic interventions, to help you better understand yourself, heal from past experiences, and build practical skills for lasting change. Together, we'll create meaningful goals and move at a pace that feels right for you.
First session
Your first session is an opportunity to get comfortable, share what has brought you to therapy, and begin identifying what you hope to gain from the experience. We'll explore your concerns, discuss your history and strengths, and start identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where there is no pressure to share more than you're ready to. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for moving forward.
Strengths
I bring a unique blend of clinical training, mindfulness, and mind-body experience to my work with clients. My background in international education, yoga therapy, and somatic practices allows me to approach each person with curiosity, cultural awareness, and an appreciation for the many ways we experience and process life's challenges. I strive to balance compassion with practical, goal-oriented support, helping clients feel understood while developing tools for meaningful and lasting change.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, work through life's challenges, and create meaningful change. They may be navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, burnout, or major life transitions, and are looking for more than just a place to talk. I enjoy working with people who are curious about personal growth, open to exploring the connection between mind and body, and interested in developing practical tools to support their emotional well-being and overall quality of life. You don't need to have everything figured out—just a willingness to begin.
Treatment methods
EMDR
I incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) into my practice to help clients process distressing experiences, trauma, and difficult memories that may continue to affect their emotions, beliefs, and daily lives. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or other forms of alternating sensory input, to support the brain's natural information-processing system. This approach can help reduce the emotional intensity associated with past experiences and support the development of healthier beliefs and responses. I tailor its use to each client's needs, incorporating preparation, coping skills, and grounding techniques to support a safe and collaborative therapeutic experience.
