New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual and in-person therapy in Colorado. I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s changes and challenges with compassion and authenticity. My approach is holistic, nonjudgmental, and empowering. Every part of your story matters, from your relationships and environment to your past experiences. You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Outside of therapy, you’ll find me exploring Colorado trails with my dog, planning adventures with family and friends, or watching TV beside my cats (they run the house). Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but we’ll show up authentically and use a bit of humor when life feels heavy. I’m excited to begin this healing journey with you. Let's get started!
During the first session, I will focus on learning about what brings you to therapy and what your goals are for the space. I also want to hear what you enjoy doing outside of therapy and what makes you unique. I enjoy hearing about my clients' backgrounds so I can have a deep understanding and foundation for our work together.
I have unique expertise with evidence-based therapy techniques supporting adolescents, caregivers, adults, and older adults with life transitions, family/relationship conflict, stress, grief, loss, and trauma recovery. We'll determine the right approach to help you achieve lasting change. I’m also certified in Veterinary Social Work and understand the deep, complex bond between humans and animals. My experience with veterinary and animal welfare professionals has helped pet owners and professionals cope with compassion fatigue, moral distress, trauma, and grief. I know caring for and loving animals can be both beautiful and exhausting.
It is important to me to meet my clients where they're at. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and family from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and needs. I work best with clients who want an open space to process their emotions and make lasting change in their lives. I ask my clients for feedback often and I enjoy facilitating a collaborative space where clients can feel empowered to work alongside me to steer their growth.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize CBT in order to help clients address thought patterns and beliefs that are holding them back from achieving their goals.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I utilize ACT to support clients with accepting challenges they are facing. Acceptance can support my clients with acknowledging the work they are doing to change their future coping skills and mindset around transitions, stress, and trauma.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Therapy is an important part of my practice because I believe that we have to understand our body's reaction to stress and emotions in order to support our body and our mind to process emotional responses and reactions. Once we understand how to calm our body and our mind, we can effectively use other therapy approaches to challenge beliefs, narratives, past experiences, etc.
