About me

I am a licensed therapist who helps adults move through anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, and the emotional impact of trauma. My approach is calm, compassionate, and down to earth. I create a safe space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and learn practical skills that support real change. I blend Trauma Focused CBT, mindfulness, and strengths based work to help clients feel grounded and confident again. My goal is to help you reconnect with your sense of self so you can meet challenges with clarity and resilience. I believe healing happens when you feel supported, heard, and empowered to build a life that feels steady and meaningful.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will take things at a comfortable pace. I will ask about what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to change. You can share as much or as little as you want. Together we will create a plan that fits your needs and feels manageable. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling supported, understood, and clear about your next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a space where people feel safe enough to slow down and be honest about what they are carrying. I have a calm, grounding presence, and clients often tell me they feel understood quickly. I am skilled at noticing patterns that clients may not see and helping them understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect. I blend practical tools with compassion. This means I can help someone explore deeper emotional wounds while also giving them clear steps that support real change. My training in trauma work, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral approaches allows me to meet clients exactly where they are. I am patient, intuitive, and able to hold difficult emotions without judgment. Most importantly, I believe in each client’s ability to heal. I stay fully present, listen closely, and help people reconnect with their own inner strength, clarity, and sense of self. Clients feel supported, empowered, and capable of creating a life that feels more balanced and meaningful.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are high functioning but exhausted from holding everything together and want to find joy. They often feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be. My ideal clients are motivated to grow, even if they feel stuck right now. They want to understand their patterns, heal old wounds, strengthen boundaries, and feel more balanced in their relationships and daily life. If you are ready to explore your inner world and create lasting change with support, I am here to help.

My treatment methods

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused CBT to help clients understand how past experiences shape their current thoughts, emotions, and reactions. Together we build practical tools that reduce anxiety, reprocess trauma memories, and create healthier patterns of coping. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and paced so clients always feel safe and supported.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, values, and ambivalence in a supportive, nonjudgmental way. This approach helps clients identify what they truly want for themselves and build the confidence to make meaningful changes at their own pace. I guide the process, but clients remain in control of their direction.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients understand what they are experiencing and why. When clients learn about anxiety, trauma responses, emotional regulation, or relationship patterns, they feel more empowered and less overwhelmed. I explain concepts in simple, practical ways so clients can use that knowledge to create healthier patterns in their daily lives.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness practices to help clients calm their nervous system, become more present, and manage strong emotions. This includes grounding exercises, breath work, and body awareness techniques that reduce stress and support emotional balance. Clients learn how to use these tools both in session and in their daily routines.
