Maybe you are the person who overthinks everything, puts too much pressure on yourself, or spends so much time taking care of everyone else that you are not even sure what you need anymore. Or maybe you are trying to support a child or teen whose anxiety, big emotions, ADHD, or autism impacts school, relationships, or everyday life.
I'm Jaleesa, a therapist who works with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and difficult life experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and neurodivergent-affirming. Therapy with me is a space to better understand yourself, build practical tools, and explore what may be underneath the patterns that keep showing up.
You do not have to come to therapy with the perfect words or even know exactly where to start. We can get curious about it together.
Hello and welcome to my page! While I'd like to say that I'm here to solve all of your problems, I am not. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe space for you to express your thoughts/feelings, gain insight and bravery so you can create the life you deserve by mitigating the intrusive thoughts and feeling of overwhelmness.
I am a compassionate and collaborative therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding. My practice focuses on supporting clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, women's issues, cultural and identity-related concerns, and attachment challenges. I provide a warm, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed space where clients can explore their experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop meaningful, lasting change. Together, we work to build insight, foster healing, and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
If you are on the path toward healing or overcoming your past yet still struggle, my practice can help. Through time spent serving in community mental health and substance abuse treatment settings, I have obtained over 15 years of experience in guiding children and adults toward answers for their life issues and conflicts. Specifically, I engage wounded individuals who feel ready to confront the traumas and problems that get in the way of living their best lives.
Through a non-judgmental, client-centered approach, I help find answers about your functioning and relationships. Specifically, I utilize body-based interventions to link your past experiences to present-day struggles to treat severe mood disorders, substance abuse and PTSD/trauma in children and adults. In seeking help, you need someone who not only understands your issues but also understands you as a person.

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) (LCPC) (LPC) (LMHC) licensed in various states. I received my Masters from Avila University in Kansas City and have been practicing for over a decade. I have helped women struggling with life problems and aid them in regaining control over worry, panic, fear, or dread in order to become the best version of themselves.
I help adults who look like they’re holding it together on the outside, but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same relationship patterns on the inside. We’ll work on stress management, emotional regulation, communication, and the deeper “why” behind your reactions—so you feel more grounded, confident, and consistent in daily life.
My style is warm, structured, and down-to-earth. You don’t need perfect words—just a willingness to show up. I use CBT/DBT/ACT tools for practical change, and I can integrate deeper work (Brainspotting/IFS) when it’s a good fit.
I also create a dedicated space for men—especially men of color—who want to explore masculinity, culture, identity, and relationships without judgment.
My practice is built on compassion, curiosity, and open, honest communication. We create a safe space where clients feel heard, respected, and valued, making it possible to explore sensitive issues with love and understanding. With a background enriched by diverse professional and life experiences, we offer insights and interventions that resonate with a broad spectrum of clients, including ethnically and culturally diverse older adults, veterans, youth, and adult re-entry offenders, as well as those grappling with symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, adjustment, and everyday confusion about what's next.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who have been practicing for over 12 years. My passion is working with adults and guiding them in overcoming trauma and healing wounded child parts. This passion is due to my own healing journey as a child who was touched inappropriately, exposed to domestic violence in a military household where my father abused drugs, physically abused my mother, and later experienced the death of my then 3-year-old son. Through my own healing journey, I learned how to "manage" my symptoms after receiving CBT talk therapy and grief counseling but had never healed from my trauma or knew about a wounded child part until receiving my own EMDR counseling. Since then, I have dedicated my life to supporting others who are on their own healing journeys.
Before healing, I experienced symptoms consisting of low self-esteem, mood instability, not feeling safe, trust issues, and the need to control everything which negatively impacted my relationships with others. The journey was difficult but successful, thanks to EMDR. Thankfully, your journey doesn't have to be difficult. EMDR and Brainspotting are two highly effective modalities in treating trauma by helping to heal wounded parts through the brain's own healing process. If you're tired of feeling that you're always being judged, feeling stuck and unable to move forward because “something” is holding you back, experiencing trust or relationship issues, not feeling as if you're good enough, or if you're waking up sad, angry, irritable, or depressed and not understanding why, you may have a wounded part that's ready to heal. If so, I would be honored for the opportunity to help the wounded part within you to recognize that they're safe, they can trust, and that they're good enough.
I’m a licensed therapist who supports individuals healing from trauma and navigating anxiety, depression, financial stress, relationship challenges, and the impact of toxic or high-stress work environments. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in family systems and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I help clients build self-understanding, emotional resilience, and self-compassion in a warm, affirming space where all parts of you are welcome—especially the ones shaped by stress, responsibility, or past experiences that deserve care and understanding.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I meet my clients where they are. I use a strength-based eclectic approach and am empathetic to my clients. I work with individual clients who are dealing with life transitions, depression, anxiety, and stress etc. I use a nonjudgmental approach and work with clients to build rapport. I have over ten years of experience and I have worked with, teens, adults and the elderly, and neurodivergent clients. I provide support to my client in every step of their journey.

I am a 'Keturah-sized' bridge in the wellness gap for those who have cycled through therapists searching for a peer who truly sees them. Hi, I’m Andrew and I’m really glad you’re here. I’ve spent the last five years working in the mental health field. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families across a wide range of life circumstances. My experience includes working with foster youth, providing comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy, supporting clients in detox and rehabilitation settings, responding to community crises, and serving individuals experiencing homelessness within a housing-first model.

My goal is to offer clarity, encouragement, and a steady presence as you build the skills and confidence to move toward the life you want.
“Sometimes, you have to make a decision that will break your heart but heal your soul.” - Trent Shelton. Sometimes you just can’t. Can’t say no, can’t find motivation, can’t sit through another meeting, can’t stop worrying, can’t wear the mask and pretend to be okay, and/or can’t get out of bed. The list goes on, because at some point or another, we all feel like our struggle is too much to handle. But “trouble don’t last always” and you do not have to face your battles alone. Through a solutions-focused and person-centered approach, my goal is to help you nourish you. I help clients find solutions to issues involving boundaries, self-care, time management, trauma, and stress. Together we can visualize, explore, and define who you are and what you want out of life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQI+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (6+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” helping clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I use evidence-based and trauma-responsive approaches tailored to each client’s needs. My primary modalities include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed interventions, and psychodynamic therapy. My EMDRIA certification is currently pending.
I also have extensive experience using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure-based interventions, mindfulness, and other integrative approaches. I modify interventions to support neurodivergent clients and individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, recognizing that therapy should adapt to the client and not require the client to adapt to therapy.

Trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I am available to help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relational issues, communication skills, depression, and stress management . As a first generation Eritrean American born and raised in the Bay Area, I struggled with a sense of belonging throughout my adolescence, often straddling the line between multiple identities and insecurities surrounding the idea of not being “American enough" and not being “African enough.” Early on in college, I took a psychology class that helped me further understand the human condition and its applications in my own life. I learned transformative concepts in terms of moods, relationships, and behaviors, prompting me to further pursue the field of psychology. Since then, I have taken it upon myself to get advanced training in various therapeutic approaches, which I believe help clients get the most out of their therapy experience.

Have you not felt like yourself lately? Are you struggling to find that happy, healthy, hopeful place in life? Whether it be from relationships, personal, or just life, sometimes we can just feel overwhelmed and out of sync with who we were or who we would like to become.
I am here to help facilitate that change. Together we can target the obstacles in your life and make a plan of action to put you on the right path. By using an integrative approach with effective therapeutic modalities we focus on the whole being to get you in balance.
My style is eclectic utilizing an empathetic position to build rapport while empowering you to become the stronger happier version of self. I combine affirmations and metaphoric narrative to separate you from the problem, allowing you to externalize the issues rather than internalize them.

I’m Tomekia Edwards, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, New York, and California with over 17 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate life’s most difficult seasons. My background spans inpatient behavioral health, mobile psychiatric assessment, HIV case management, and working with service members and military families. These experiences have shaped my ability to provide grounded, compassionate care across diverse and complex situations.
I commonly support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, work and school stress, and relationship challenges. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques, allowing us to identify practical tools while also uncovering the strengths you already possess. I have extensive experience working with adults, children, families, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
