I'm Elizabeth, a bilingual licensed clinical social worker with a master's degree from Indiana University. My goal is to touch, move and inspire all those I come in contact with. I am passionate about empowering people in all aspects of life. I help people embrace their authentic self, develop compassion towards self and others, and live a meaningful life through transformation and healing.
My name is Farbod. I am a second generation Persian-American.
My own background continues to shape the way I approach this work. Growing up in California I often felt caught between two cultures—never quite fitting into either. I approach therapy through a combination of learning skills to work through stress, guiding clients to better understanding themselves, and a space to be heard.
I also am an avid gamer (tabletop and video games), home cook, and runner.
¡Hablo Español! Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. My name is Roxana,
and I’m a first-generation Mexican-American, born and raised in Southern California. I proudly
served in the Marine Corps and have been working in mental health since 2012, providing case
management to individuals facing homelessness and severe mental illness. Over the years, I’ve
had the privilege of working in diverse settings throughout Riverside County, including Domestic
Violence and Forensic Mental Health, where I worked closely with men in the Criminal Justice
System.
During my practicum, I provided individual counseling to military members, veterans, and first
responders, helping them address relationship conflicts, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
My therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief
Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as Gottman Relationship
Method (Level 1). However, I believe that effective therapy begins with a genuine,
person-to-person connection—one that builds trust, fosters open communication, and creates a
sense of safety and mutual respect. My goal is to create a space where clients feel truly seen
and valued, and I occasionally use humor to support meaningful therapeutic work that fosters
long-lasting growth and change.
Thank you again for visiting my profile—it would be an honor to work with you!
Are you striving to find satisfaction with your work, life or relationships? Do you want to focus on fixing immediate problems rather than unraveling past hurts? Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. I see my role as a co-author, helping you develop an alternate personal history so that you may move forward with courage and confidence.
Having been married for 50 years and raised four children to adulthood, I bring a wealth of life experience to the therapeutic relationship. There are so many challenges with marriage and raising a family, undergoing therapy myself (both individual and couple) has helped me through many difficult times, and I know what it takes make significant changes in my life. I love animals, and i have two dogs who bring me joy every day. My children and seven grandchildren are very important to my life. One of the benefits of being an older therapist is that I have overcome many of the obstacles that my clients face, and for even those I have not experienced, my clients benefit from the life skills I have developed.

I have cultivated a deep passion for supporting children, families, and communities. I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York City, my heritage has profoundly shaped my perspective, allowing me to connect with diverse populations and understand the unique challenges they face.
I am invested in helping you recognize thinking and (in)action patterns that hold you back or help you flourish. You may gain clarity about attitudes and beliefs informing everyday behaviors. Building motivation and tapping into innate resilience is a major part of the healing journey. The focus can be on lowering stress, increasing safety and security in relationships, and developing healthy self-esteem. This involves exploring current coping and refining skills for various situations and settings. Over time and with practice, you may become more flexible and responsive. You may feel more readiness for new and harder challenges. A gentle exploration of trauma, which is all too often a major source for present distress, is part of the work.

I work with high-functioning adults who look capable on the outside but are running on chronic survival mode underneath. Clients often reach out when hyper-preparation and control hit a wall; waking with 2 AM panic spirals, treating every uncertainty like an emergency, or crashing into shame and burnout. Using evidence-based trauma therapy and somatic grounding, we help you quiet the harsh inner critic, process deep-seated wounds, and retrain an overactive threat system. Together, we move you out of constant fight-or-flight so you can finally inhabit an ordinary, safe life without needing a crisis to survive.

Alongside clinical practice, I lead research and innovation efforts for a national behavioral healthcare organization, have directed treatment programs, and publish and speak on mental health and addiction. Hi! My name is Alex and I'm excited about the potential of working with you in developing a sense of integration and resilience in your life. Are you feeling stuck? Dissatisfied in your relationships and/or work? Disconnected from a sense of deeper purpose? Feel that there is the potential for greater richness and joy in life, but it is just out of reach? Rooted in a compassionate curiosity, our work would explore these themes through inquiry into the dynamic between your conscious, unconscious, somatic, and relational self. Using a holistic lens we can unpack the how's and why's of your patterns; gaining insight into your emotions and experiences, and work towards greater self-awareness and well-being.
From a somatic, psychodynamic approach we will focus on the connection between the body and the mind, and how emotions and past experiences can be stored in the body and affect an your mental and physical well-being. Through the use of techniques such as mindfulness, breathwork, and body-based exercises, you will become more aware of your physical sensations and how they are connected to your thoughts and emotions. This may also include exploring early childhood experiences, family dynamics, and past traumas, as well as working through issues related to relationships, self-esteem, and personal growth.

Hi everyone! I'm Sarah.
I'm a therapist with 11 years of experience, two master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley. I specialize in helping people navigate some of life's most frustrating, isolating, and difficult-to-talk-about experiences.
*Chronic illness and health challenges:* Living with a chronic health condition can be exhausting in ways other people don't always understand. Between the limitations, uncertainty, endless appointments, and having to advocate for yourself when you barely have the energy, it's easy to feel like your body has betrayed you. I help people work through the grief, anger, anxiety, and identity changes that can come with chronic illness, especially when answers are hard to find.
*Infertility and fertility struggles:* There is a particular kind of heartbreak that comes with wanting your body to do something you've been told it should be able to do, only to find that it isn't happening. The appointments, waiting, disappointment, and pressure from society can feel incredibly unfair and lonely. I offer a space where you can be angry, sad, hopeful, exhausted, or all of those things at once, without anyone telling you to "just relax" or "stay positive."
*Sexual concerns and performance anxiety:* Sex can become a source of anxiety and frustration when things that used to come naturally suddenly don't. Whether you're dealing with performance concerns, changes in desire, or difficulty feeling confident and comfortable with intimacy, we can work on it.
*Relationships:* I also work with individuals navigating relationship challenges, whether they're in monogamous, polyamorous, open, or other relationship structures. Relationships can be complicated, and I enjoy helping people better understand their needs and communicate more effectively.
**Please note:** I don't offer couples counseling. My practice is LGBTQ+ and kink-affirming.
I worked at Oak Grove Center for Education Treatment and the Arts, a level 12 treatment facility, for children and adolescents in Murrieta, California for 10 years before entering into private practice with a large group practice for two years located in Temecula, California. I have operated a solo private practice in Murrieta, California since March of 2013 called Edmond Child & Family Counseling.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.
Welcome! Taking the step to enter therapy is an act of courage, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and personal growth. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered.
In our work together, I tailor my approach to your unique needs, integrating evidence-based frameworks like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) within a warm, humanistic foundation. Whether you are navigating life transitions, addressing relationship challenges, or seeking greater emotional balance, we will work collaboratively to build practical coping tools, harness your personal strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I believe healing is hidden in the stories we share. I'm Anthony Garcia, LMFT, a trauma-focused therapist trained in EMDR who helps adults navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, and life's most challenging transitions. By helping clients explore the experiences that shaped them and uncover the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, I help them find relief from emotional distress and begin writing a new chapter grounded in resilience, meaning, and hope.
Hello. I am a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience. Reaching out for treatment can be a difficult task. My approach is to meet you where you are, focus on your needs, and work with you to get to where you want to be in the future. I offer skills for coping or if you are seeking change.
I take a strength based approach to therapy, focusing on the strengths, values, and resilience you already have rather than only on problems. Together, we build on what is working to help you navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. This approach supports growth that feels both practical and personally aligned with who you are and your goals.
Hi I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I earned my Masters of Social Work from San Jose State University and have been practicing for the past seven years and have over twenty years experience as a child welfare social worker. I am bilingual (Spainsh). My focus is working with individuals who are interested in addressing negative symptoms which are impacting their lives. My goal is to provide you with the tools to lead a healthy and productive life.
With all of my clients, the priority is to connect – connection breeds trust – trust breeds comfort – and when you’re comfortable within your environment, you have a good foundation from which to start venturing down the path of your individualized therapy. When you feel comfortable enough to be honest about your anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, relationship struggles, trauma, or life stressors, real work can begin.
The reason why I choose the work I do, is because psychology is incredibly dynamic – no two people are the same. Many of us share similar moments in life, but the way in which those experiences affect us, is as individualized as each person I work with. That’s why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, your story deserves its own structure.
Hi! I’m Akilah Bakeer-Pullum a licensed clinician (LCSW), with over 10 years of experience partnering with clients. I enjoy creating a warm, supportive, and accepting therapeutic environment, often using humor to put clients at ease. My goal is to provide the highest level of care by customizing treatment and drawing from a myriad of evidence-based practice models. In doing so I am able to meet my clients where they are as we work together to improve their quality of life. That being said, I'm going to challenge you. You are in therapy for a reason. Improvements to your life will require actual changes. You can go forward at the pace that suits you, but you'll need to go forward and I'm here to help with that.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping you learn how to cultivate the life you deserve and want. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, thinking patterns, and self-limiting beliefs that create daily barriers to life fulfillment. I believe in taking a collaborative approach towards helping clients reach their goals. I hold space for you to narrate your journey without fear or judgment. I welcome your invitation to walk beside you in letting go of the things and ideas that no longer serve you. You deserve the opportunity to cultivate a better you.

Hello, I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been in the field for over twenty years. I generally see Adults for Individual Therapy and Couples Counseling. I am also a Registered Addiction Specialist.
My life experiences and education makes it possible for me to meet Individuals and Couples where they are emotionally to assist them through their Therapeutics Journey.
Life can feel overwhelming when sadness, worry, or stress keep getting in the way of the life you want. I can help you find clarity, confidence, and balance again. Many of my clients are navigating relationship struggles, family conflict, or life transitions that leave them feeling stuck or uncertain.
My approach is both collaborative and practical, combining evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy with genuine compassion and support. I'm committed to forming a meaningful relationship with every client in a warm and supportive environment where you can feel safe when addressing issues of concern.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine. Though my title says "Marriage and Family," my door is open to individuals, couples, and families alike, because pain doesn't always fit neatly into one category, and neither does healing.
My clients often arrive having carried their struggles alone for far too long. Maybe it's crushing stress that follows them from morning to night. Maybe it's anxiety that hums beneath the surface, never quite letting them rest. Maybe it's a relationship that once felt like home but now feels like a battlefield. Or maybe there's no name for it at all, just a quiet, persistent sense that something isn't right.
I understand that place. I've sat with people in their darkest moments, in psychiatric facilities, in schools, in the quiet corners of their own lives, and I've witnessed both profound suffering and extraordinary resilience. I've learned that healing rarely happens in a single breakthrough. It happens in the steady, patient work of being seen, understood, and challenged to grow.
Now in private practice, I offer something different from the quick fixes and surface-level solutions that so often leave people feeling unheard. I offer sustained, meaningful work, the kind that takes time, honesty, and courage. Whether you're navigating anxiety, stress, relationship wounds, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to walk alongside you. Not to rush you. Not to judge you. But to help you find your way back to yourself, one honest conversation at a time.
I love partnering with people on their journey to greatness. I use a strengths-based approach to help my clients see the choices that are always at their disposal to unlearn past harmful messaging or combat unrelenting present symptoms. As a Black woman, I always integrate the importance of diversity. Playing small to blend in doesn't serve anyone. Whether we're different based on external or internal attributes, we all need to embrace our beautiful and different qualities so that we can live an authentic life.
My work also focuses on boundaries, challenging thoughts, and improving communication skills. I integrate role plays, affirmations, accountability, and direct introspection exercises to aid clients in quieting the noise of societal norms to embrace their true joy. All sessions are client-focused, I don't come with my own agenda. I'm excited to help you live life with confidence on your own terms. I look forward to working with you.
