Hello! I am a License Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Master of Social Work from California State University Long Beach. I received my BA in Psychology degree from California Stated University Fullerton. I have been practicing mental health counseling for 17 years. I help adolescents, adults and older adults struggling with careers, stress and burnout, traumatic life events, experiencing depression and anxiety to be able to function as normal as they can be.
In our first session together, we’ll start to a brief introduction to build rapport. Once you are comfortable, then we dive into specific challenges you’re experiencing. This will be help me determine the type of treatment modalities we can use.
Having worked with different backgrounds, socio economic status, and life experiences. I have experienced what the clients goes thru the therapeutic process.
I like working with different populations as I have been working with them all throughout my career.

Great listener. Has a good grasp of what Im saying and can make educated inferences that are helpful and dont feel as if he is trying to diagnose me. He alllows me to open up and can help me unravel how I feel.

Coming into my first session, I was very nervous and anxious as this was my first form of mental health treatment. But Ryan was a very warm presence and my anxiety was lifted after a few minutes of talking to him. He's a great therapist and he made the idea of therapy less anxiety inducing for me

This was my first session, the time felt limited and we barely scratched the surface but he gave me some helpful information, that may address one of my many concerns. This made me feel slightly more at ease, overall.

I have worked with adolescent and adults who has experience trauma, homelessness, abuse, addiction, and family issues. Because of some of my patients have immediate needs. We tend to work problem solving skills.
