Hi, I’m Angie. Are you ready to make some positive changes that will improve your life? Maybe you’re suffering from depression, or anxiety is imposing limitations on how you live your life. Your journey and the life experience that led you here can be complicated, multidimensional, and diverse. I believe the approach to your psychotherapy should be as dynamic as you are and shouldn’t be limited to a “one theory fits all” methodology. You don’t have to face these challenges alone.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will have an opportunity to get to know one another and map out a therapeutic plan.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

You’re the author and expert in your life story. The backstory: your family, culture, sexuality, chosen tribe and politics significantly impact how your story will unfold. I actively participate as a therapist, drawing from my own personal and professional experiences, different philosophies while always honoring that the journey is yours. My method is a collaborative endeavor of client and therapist rooted in evidence and philosophically based theories. With this in mind, I draw from many psychotherapeutic theories such as Cognitive Behavioral, Existential Gestalt, Family Systems, Postmodernism, and others.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

It’s the stories of others and those around me that drew me to the field of helping people as a psychotherapist. I believe everyone has their own path, their unique way of connecting and evolving. After all, don’t we all want to be seen and heard? I want to help you understand the story that came before you, how it may or may not relate to what you are presently experiencing, and how connecting these pieces will help you take control of your journey as it unfolds. Together, let’s find the evolution of you and help you better connect with yourself, your loved ones, and the community around you.
