If you're in your 40s or 50s and feel like you no longer recognize yourself, you're not imagining it. Anxiety that seems to come out of nowhere, a shorter fuse, brain fog, poor sleep, low mood, and feeling like you've lost your spark are all common in perimenopause and menopause. Too often, women are told it's "just stress" or that they should push through.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience and a Certified Menopause Coach. I specialize in working with women in midlife who are navigating the emotional and mental health side of this transition, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD symptoms that often surface or intensify during these years.
In our work together, you'll have a space where your experience is taken seriously. I'll help you understand what's happening, build practical tools for managing mood, stress, and focus, and reconnect with who you are and what you want from this next chapter. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches and tailor them to you.
Midlife can be more than something to get through. With the right support, it can be a time of clarity, confidence, and renewal. I'd be honored to help you thrive in it.
I chose this field because I see myself as a healer, I am passionate about seeing people create the shifts in their lives that changes it all for the better. I think this passion is easily observable and felt in our interaction in session. My client's stories inspire me, motivate me, keep me going. Their success, their progress, "fills my cup" (yes, I am just another human and your kindness, your sweetness, your beautiful soul makes it all worth it).
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with experience working across the lifespan—from childhood through later life—and with multigenerational families. I use a developmental and family-systems perspective, recognizing that every life stage brings distinct needs involving safety, independence, competence, identity, relationships, purpose, caregiving, loss, and meaning.
My international background, having lived across different countries and cultures, along with my graduate research in cultural humility, has shaped my understanding of how cultural identity, family values, and lived experiences influence the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world. I approach each client with curiosity, openness, and respect for their unique perspective, recognizing that meaningful therapy requires understanding the individual within their broader cultural and relational context.
I help clients navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, cultural stress, family conflict, relationship challenges, and major life transitions through meaningful conversation, practical tools, and creative approaches when helpful. My work integrates psychological insight with practical strategies, helping clients not only manage symptoms but also understand the underlying patterns that influence their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Art is always optional.
I offer individual psychotherapy through select insurance plans and private pay. Couples and family therapy are available on a private-pay basis only. Please inquire about rates and payment arrangements before scheduling these services.

I’m a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health. I work with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, grief, ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship and family patterns, life transitions, codependency, identity, and spirituality.
My approach is warm, interactive, integrative, and trauma-informed. I draw from EMDR, parts-oriented work, CBT, motivational interviewing, attachment and relational therapy, mindfulness, and somatic practices, tailoring treatment to each person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
My background in addiction treatment deepened my understanding of trauma, coping, and the protective strategies people develop to survive difficult experiences. I am also trained in yoga and have experience with meditation, breathwork, tai chi, and qi gong. When these practices fit a client’s needs and interests, they can become part of our work together.
Hi there! I'm glad you're here. My approach is one of curiosity and collaboration. You are not in this alone. A little about me: For the past 20 years, I have had the privilege and honor to work with people of all ages who have so many different amazing stories and experiences. Do you feel unseen or unheard? Do you struggle with feeling like you don’t quite belong—or maybe feel disconnected from yourself entirely? If you are on this page, you are probably dealing with challenges that are keeping you from feeling content, balanced and in control. Maybe you are faced with a difficult situation, an unexpected event in your life, or perhaps you have been struggling with anxiety and depression for years.
I understand that starting therapy can be a daunting decision. It takes courage to take the first step and seek help. Together, we can identify what is keeping you from feeling confident, competent, and in charge of your life, and help you take steps toward being the best version of yourself.
You’re someone others rely on. You handle what needs to get done, maintain high standards, and rarely let things slip. From the outside, it works. Internally, it can feel like a constant undercurrent of pressure—overthinking, tension, or a sense that you’re always “on.”
Many of the patterns that keep you functioning at a high level were shaped by earlier experiences that required you to adapt quickly, stay aware, or carry more than you should have alone. Those patterns don’t just disappear—they evolve into the way you think, respond, and move through your life today.
My work is designed for high-functioning adults who are ready for a different internal experience. Together, we look beneath the surface at what’s driving these patterns and begin to shift them—so you can feel more grounded, clear, and aligned with who you actually are, not just who you’ve had to be.
This isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about experiencing your life with less pressure, more intention, and a stronger connection to your authentic self.
When you’re ready to move beyond just managing and start feeling more like yourself, I’m here to help.
We all have the opportunity in our life to start fresh. During the journey, we change, grow, heal, destroy, and can improve our lives. You will experience difficulties, and you are not alone. We are not alone in this world, but we are compelled to isolate ourselves from the fear of experiencing too much pain. I have many years of clinical training with life experiences, including successes and failures, but we are not provided a how to manual at birth. I have a sense of humor, but good sound clinical judgment, so take a leap of faith.

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of criticism or shame.
