I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who helps adults navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the pressure of carrying too much for too long. My approach is warm, honest, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I create a space where you can feel genuinely seen while also receiving practical tools that help you move forward. I integrate EMDR and other evidence-based approaches to help clients understand patterns, process painful experiences, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with who they are. You will find compassion in our sessions, but I will also gently challenge you when doing so supports your growth.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for me to understand what brought you to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what you hope will change. You will not be pressured to share more than you are ready to discuss. Together, we will begin identifying your needs, strengths, and goals while determining which therapeutic approach may be most helpful. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and clearer about what our work together could look like. With couples and families, I create space for each person’s perspective while identifying the patterns affecting the relationship as a whole.

Strengths

I bring warmth, authenticity, humor, and a strong ability to see both the person and the larger patterns affecting their life. I listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and balance holding space with compassionate accountability. Clients can expect therapy that feels supportive and human while still being purposeful, practical, and focused on meaningful change.

Ideal clients

My ideal client may appear strong and capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or emotionally exhausted underneath. They may be navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting stress, identity concerns, major life transitions, or patterns they understand intellectually but have struggled to change. They want a therapist who is compassionate and relatable, but who will also be honest and help them move beyond simply talking about the problem. They are willing to approach therapy with curiosity, practice new skills, and explore how past experiences may be affecting their present relationships, decisions, and sense of self.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or feeling stuck. I will help you examine these patterns without judgment, develop more balanced ways of thinking, and practice realistic coping strategies between sessions. The goal is not to force positive thinking, but to help you respond to difficult situations with greater awareness, confidence, and choice.
