My dream client is someone who is growth oriented and ready for healing. One gets from therapy what one puts into it, if you are commited to achieving the goals you have set for therapy, then you and I will become invincible as I feel pretty confident I have the tools to get you there. If you commit to doing the assigned homework, exercises and tools, I guarantee that you WILL feel better, you will experience a sense of empowerment, confidence, an increased ability to navigate life and relationship's challenges effectively
First session is pretty relaxed. I have no expectations, its all about you getting to know me and I you. This, so that you can get a glimpse of the authentic me; someone who cares, someone who truly desires to see you bloom and shine and for me, to get to know you well so that I can understand you better. I do hope and expect that you have filled out your intake and initial forms so that we can focus on you.
I chose this field because I am a healer, I am passionate about seeing people create the shifts in their lives that changes it all for the better. I think this passion is easily observable and felt in our interaction in session. My client's stories inspire me, motivate me, keep me going. Their success, their progress, "fills my cup" (yes, I am just another human and your kindness, your sweetness, your beautiful soul makes it all worth it). My greatest weaknesses? I think it is important for you to know: I am too structured in how I conduct business with my clients. What does that mean? That I want you to self schedule and be on top of your appointments. Why? Because i am pouring my heart, my love, my passion and my compassion on your healing. Why should I be more invested than you on this journey? For that reason, if you consistently miss your appointments I will no longer allow you to schedule for several weekly sessions/I will cancel your recurrent weekly sessions (and open them up to others waitlisted). IF you communicate with me and let me know of any emergencies, I am understanding and flexible. If I see a pattern of missed sessions for which a client does not reach out, then I assume that client/you is/are not ready for change. In that situation, I don't follow up or neither shut my services off to that client as I do know that "when the pain of not changing becomes greater than the pain of changing" then we are ready and I will be here if you need me then :-) LASTLY: if you are unable to engage in therapy (as shown by inconsistent attendance to your appointments) because you struggle with functioning and self caring it is important that you know that there are supportive services in every (most) county/ies. These services are called ICM (intensive case management) and that I do not believe that someone who is unable to self care should engage in virtual therapy. I strongly advice to do in person AND connect with supportive services (many organizations offer all inclusive services: therapist, medication management, case management etc, I recommend this as ideally) or local organizations offering team-like support. You can look into connecting with ICM by dialing 211 and asking for referrals to the nearest organization offering this. From the bottom of my heart, I wish you strength in your healing journey. KNOW THIS: You are not alone :-) there are MANY professionals and supportive staff ready and willing to help. The challenge may be in connecting t
FIRST AND FOREMOST: I DON'T DO ANY TYPE OF LETTERS. Thank you for your attention to this :-) My ideal client is someone who has some degree of psychological sophistication, meaning that has had previous therapy, self help or professional. Because I am trauma focused I am very kind, compassionate, patient and for that reason, my ideal client would be someone who feels tired of feeling bad and is ready for change, someone who is invested in creating change. FOR THAT REASON: those clients who need someone to hold them accountable may not do well with my style of therapy as they may feel enabled to continue bad habits. If this resonates with you, you may feel as if therapy with me is not helping you. I suggest finding CBT, solution focused or ACT trained therapists. If you are struggling with substance use, I require a minimum of 3 month's engagement in recovery or rehabilitation as again, I don't do sponsorship and have no training in addictions or substance use. My ideal client is someone who is or has done recovery on his, her their own. ADDITIONALLY, I have no background on neurodivergence. Why is this important? Neurodivergent individuals process emotions differently. In my experience my approach feels activating to neurodivergent clients as I am not familiar to how trauma or trauma modalities can be adjusted to their way of processing emotions. I most likely have to refer you to someone with that background. Unfortunately, the trainings, experience and effectiveness I can offer has been with the neurotypical community. My heart goes to you (neurodivergent), as I wish I could help <3
I like to include mindfulness tools in each session with the goal of facilitating client managing their symptoms while in treatment and after they complete it
We are all at different places and stages in our personal development, self awareness, ability to manage with current challenges. Our backgrounds, personalities and skill levels are all different so I try to meet my clients where they are at in their life's journey
Some have extensive stories of trauma. Whether this trauma is a life threatening event or challenges in childhood, EMDR is pretty powerful to facilitate reprograming our minds, overcoming blocks and creating the shifts that helps us free ourselves from that inner distress that trauma causes
I pulled tools/techniques from a variety of modalities, based on client's self report and feedback: Other potential tools include painting/drawing assignments, games, affirmations, hypnotherapy, guided imagery, inner child/ego states/IFS

In my 2 sessions I have experienced profound AHA moments! More so, moments I need to work on in order to start my healing journey. I look forward to the process of self-love and embrace with openness of change.

Hannah is great at dispelling the mystery of positivity. As a self proclaimed “grumpy” person she is helping me to stop feeling as though feeling joy is inauthentic. She’s great at her job.
