Mateo Ayala has worked: 18 months in a mental health hospital helping individuals with a wide variety of mental illness ranging from schizophrenia, bipolar I, suicidal ideations and attempts, severe depression, anxiety, homicidal ideation, mania, anger control problems, non-suicidal self-harm, and more. 7 months in Bexar County Adult Detention Center teaching inmates on how to control anger, domestic violence, and addressing trauma. 15 months in various drug and alcohol rehab centers as a drug and alcohol counselor as well as the trauma counselor addressing co-occurring disorders. 3 years experience working individual counseling sessions for private practices addressing trauma, depression, bereavement, anxiety, anger management, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, pain management, relationship problems, and more.
